As much as Zoey loved hanging around with Amy and the Walker twins, she had needed to spend some serious time with Sam Winters. Her fiance seemed to be so far from where he needed to be and that was what bothered her the most. Since the wedding and the masquerade party it seemed like they hardly spent any time together whenever there was not something major going on in their lives. Something that the brunette was not looking forward to, but for some reason she found herself going to the studio that was close to Sammy’s apartment hoping that he wasn’t there. She drove her little beat up car down the road to the studio, and climbed out of the car with no hesitation. Zoey hadn’t seen any of the brothers’ cars out front, so she went up to the door and lifted the mat to where the spare key was kept. The boys liked to make sure she could get in whenever she needed time to herself.Walking into the studio, she looked around and was glad to be somewhere that was away from all the drama that would ensue. Her parents were never around and she honestly had enough of them. If it wasn’t something to do with their traveling, it had to do with the fact that Zoey was always hanging around Sam. She had decided to say hell with them and say that she was dating Sammy again, and if they really had a problem with it then they could kick her out. It wasn’t like boxes of her shit wasn’t already at his house. Every weekend whenever they were away she packed up more shit and moved it into her fiance’s apartment. It was easier that way whenever she didn’t come home and pretended to be at Amy’s.

Zoey walked into the studio and was happy to have an acoustic guitar in her hands within moments. She dabbled with the piano, just depended on what her mood was. She started to strum on the guitar whenever she realized she was just going back and forth between chords not really playing anything. Instead of writing something of her own, or even something mainstream the guitar started to play one of the Taylor Swift songs that she had listened to with Amy as she celebrated her new relationship with Aiden. Something that Zoey had seen coming for ages and yet neither of them admitted it. Her voice started to fill the studio as she sang, “flash forward and we’re taking on the world together, and there’s a drawer of my things at your place, you learn my secrets and you figure out why I’m guarded. You said we’ll never make my parents’ mistakes, but we got bills to pay. We got nothing figured out, when it was hard to take yes, yes, this is what I thought about.” Taylor’s words of wisdom rang through as she continued singing Mine which actually reminded her so much of her relationship with Sam that it was insanity. She had been dancing around the room with the guitar around her shoulders acting like an idiot that she had never heard someone enter the studio. When her dark brown eyes opened, she saw Sam staring at her that she immediately stopped singing and looked at him bashfully. “Hey Sammy. I didn’t hear you come in.” It was honest, but her face wore a smile anyways happy that she was actually going to get to spend some time with the man she loved and adored.
