A huge grin had appeared on the girl’s face. She looked like a child on Christmas day when they saw all those presents with how big that grin was. Spinning around in her computer chair, she reached down and grabbed her boots and put them on. She stood up then, heading over to grab whatever else she needed. She was already dressed differently than what she was dressed in earlier, which were her dance clothes. Lexie was a dancer, she loved to dance, she was great at it and was going to be a professional dancer one day and she didn’t care on how people thought of her. So, she changed into the basic jeans and a t-shirt because of the fact that she was going to get Rockie, and head out to the mall and dinner and back to her place for a movie. She loved when she got to be with Rockie, they were close, like really close no lie. They were best friends and possibly one of the only best friend that she had, plus if she had others. She knew that Rockie wasn’t a big fan of friends, like for example; Lexie knew that Rockie’s main friends were her, Lucas, and that Shayne girl. She wasn’t sure of anyone else though and she wasn’t going to second guess on anyone else probably because she could be completely wrong on some of those names, minus her name anyways. Lexie grabbed her keys, heading towards the door of her apartment after signing off of the internet. Locking her door, she headed out of her apartment and down the stairs and out into the brisk air. She hugged herself, trying to keep herself warm. Lexie was never the one for jackets, probably because she thought that made her look bigger and fatter and for the fact that she wouldn’t be able to do much in them. So, to Lexie, just a hoodie and a north face over that would feel slightly better to her. Reaching her 2007 black jaguar, she pushed the unlock button and set herself inside. Lexie turned her car on, making sure the heat was on and pulled into reverse, then drive and drove off, heading over to Rockie’s house, well it was really Shayne’s house, but Rockie was there most of the time because Shayne was at the hospital most of the time, so Lexie just called it her house.. The house they lived in wasn’t far from where Lexie lived, so it was fair enough to drive there, which took only ten minutes or walk there, which would take like a million minutes. Lexie would rather just drive anyways. There wasn’t a need for music, because when the both of them got together, there would be the music of their voices from singing randomly in her car. Yup, the two of them together were just random when they were together, it was what made them themselves and all that other fun stuff they did..
They had planned a few things to do tonight, but one was surprising to Lexie. Apparently now they were going to be spies, pretend spies. Rockie said it was pretend play, and Lexie smiled. She liked pretend play and she wondered if they would be in costumes. Rockie never explained why they were going to play spies; all she said was that it was about Shayne’s boyfriend being a pimp. Lexie didn’t know about Shayne’s boyfriend, but she had heard about him. But removed that thought, because then she would have to change again and she really didn’t want to keep changing in different clothes in and out of them. Lexie had pulled to the apartment which Rockie was at. She parked her car, grabbing her keys and putting them into her pocket. She went into the building, and then headed up the stairs and to wherever she could be at. Lexie rarely came here, so she exactly didn’t know what room it was. It was some number, and Lexie was pretty sure it was this one ahead. So, with her being right, only because it had said something about her name being on the side, Lexie tried to open the door, which had surprisingly opened. Rockie? She called out. Lexie walked in more into the place, closing the door behind her. She went towards the living room, leaning herself against the couch. She crossed her arms and set them across her chest. Where you at? I want to start playing spies and head off to the mall and dinner and whatever else we’re doing tonight please..
[/b] Lexie said in some sort of whine. She wasn’t whining though, it may sound like it but she wasn’t. It was then that she wondered something. A small smile had crept up on her face. Rockie where’s your phone at? I want to get Lucas’ number so I can make sure he gets whipped and isn’t so loser-like and be so weird whenever you talk to him. I’m sure he will be saying something about it when I get done with him.[/b] Lexie asked a second later along with adding some statements with it. They had talked about Lucas in their conversation, about how he had declined Rockie and Char leslie. So, Lexie told Rockie that she would try, because Lucas could never decline a blonde, and she was going to get Lucas whipped up, no matter how much he would disagree, she would do it. After all, who doesn’t like an ex-cheerleader AND a dancer with a killer body? She still couldn’t believe that he would decline Rockie, Lexie wouldn’t even deny her. So, it was going to be a fun challenge. Shaking her head, she removed the thoughts on how she would figure that out and entered the thoughts of what they were going to do tonight. She was excited for tonight, besides, who wasn’t excited when they hung out with each other? It was always fun with the both of them. tagged: soma/rockie status: finished words: 1000 notes: this might be rambly, and im sorry. but here you go!! template: me:)[/size][/blockquote]

Closing her computer, Rockie stood up from her seat, looking around the room and deciding to clean up a bit before her company came over. It wasn't a usual time when people actually wanted to come over and see her, she found it quite interesting that after being gone for a year, Lexie welcomed her back with open arms. Lexie had been her best friend for a while now, more than five years now, they'd been through just about everything together. Break ups to fights, drunken nights and cheerleading nights, it was all shared. The blonde female was the one friend that stuck with her through and through, and for once, Rockie's gaze softened at her and she treated her with respect, though still was able to keep her Rockie like attitude. Though they had fooled around, messed around, whatever you wanted to call it, they had never fallen for each other. Or well, not that Rockie knew anyway, their relationship was strictly a close friendship and doing all that stuff just seemed to be the package deal. Yes, Lexie did get the darker girl hot and bothered sometimes, but... actually there was no but to that, Lexie had an amazing body and knew how to work it, end of conversation. Their personalities meshed rather well too, though Lexie was a bit dim sometimes, Rockie made up for it with her tough exterior. They stuck together, and in high school they were two girls who never left each others side, both ex-cheerleaders, both dancers, though Raquel would admit that Lexie had the better body and the better dancing skills.
Yes, Rockie was indeed self-conscious, she had addressed the situation a few times, never really finding herself up to par with Lexie. The girl had abs, and well the brunette just had a flat stomach which was a plus as well, but still. Enough about appearance though, she was rushing around trying to get this place at least a bit cleaner than what she made it. So, she'd been spending night after night by herself, and though she loved herself, this was not the way to be spending her nights anymore. Shayne was too busy for her, so she was giving up on the girl, and hanging out with other friends, the two others she had. Scarlett, good god, the blonde made butterflies come to her stomach, though she'd never admit that. Lexie, she could be herself around, no matter what she did, it wasn't like the girl had never seen it before. She was pretty excited about tonight, seeing her friend in over a year, and wondering how much she changed. She kinda figured she looked the same, maybe longer hair but still with those piercing blue eyes of hers. She looked down at herself, noticing that maybe she should start getting ready, and to the bathroom she went, applying some make up in the mirror before all things.
Hearing the door open, she didn't think much of it, knowing that she was expecting someone, she left it open on purpose. Oh she was nowhere near ready, half dressed actually, and not really bothering to rush at all. "What what what... not even half way ready, give me some time. I still think we should just stay in, you know it takes me a while." She grumbled, walking out of the back room in only her bra and what seemed like short shorts. Pulling her hair out of the ponytail that it had been in, she looked at her friend for a moment, up and down her eyes went then a shrug. "Good enough, you haven't changed much now, have you?" She nodded, before moving to the bedroom which was the first door on the left. Lexie hadn't changed at all, looked the same and she seemed to act the same as well, which made her smile. Well, not really a smile, but a smirk, since smiling was rather overrated for the dark female. "You're seriously going to try, Lex? Erg, fine. Don't be ditching me now, if you do get all up in his grill. " She said, stepping out of the bedroom with a pair of jeans on but still no shirt. She checked her pockets for her phone, then looked down at her bra. Well, she should of thought of that place to look first, and with a pull she removed it and tossed it to the female. She placed her hands on her hips and looked at the other female, smirking at her like always and tilting her head to the side. "I don't get a hello, or that you missed me, nothing? Just asking for a guys number? Have I rubbed off on you too much?" She asked, before laughing. Okay, so like stated before, Rockie was a bitch, supreme one actually, and she took advantage of every situation she could, but her friends were different, she actually did care about them. Since she didn't make many, she decided that holding onto people like Lexie and Shayne, was sorta important. Though her view on Shayne was wavering, she was starting to think twice about this whole spying thing. The kid that she was dating was so obviously cheating, and Rockie didn't really want to be the one to break the news, but hey someone had to. There was Lucas as well, she always forgot about him, since most of the time she was just using him to please herself, but she had to admit, the guy was a decent friend as well. Tonight, she was going to focus on her and Lexie, the friend who has stood by her through whatever it was she was going through. One of the only people to actually see her cry too, she gave Lexie a lot of credit to still be here, dealing with her shit, and tonight Rockie was going to enjoy her friend. Maybe in more ways than one. words: 1015 tag: alaina as lexie. notes: i'll make this pretty tomorrow! <3 [/blockquote]

Since she had to wait there, which she didn’t mind at all, she took off the one jacket that was on top of her hoodie. She gave one of her little smiles and crossed her arms. She was used to Rockie being the way she was and always not ready. She didn’t care about waiting at all. This was really weird to say, was that Lexie was actually a patient person though she didn’t seem like the type that would be. Lexie watched as Rockie came out, just to say she wasn’t ready and all that stuff, once again, Lexie didn’t care, she would wait if she had too. So, being that, she lowered her arms as she made herself comfortable on the back of the couch. It was more of a leaning stature, but it was still comfortable to her. Lexie went to eye her friend, she hadn’t changed much either. Lexie smiled again, shrugging a bit. I didn’t change. Still the same Lexie.. At least I hope so. I wonder who would’ve changed me . . .
[/b] She said trailing off at the end. Yup, she was a bit ditzy, but she meant well. What she had lacked, Rockie had made it up with her toughness. Once in a while, Lexie did manage to get Rockie to be calm and actually like a decent human being. Though other times she just didn’t care, she was used to Rockie’s personality. She watched Rockie walk back into the back and finish changing herself up and what not. If you want to stay in, we can.. We can order something…. Like Chinese, where they don’t make sense at all. I wonder if they do delivery. . . Lexie said moments later. Standing up straight, she went walking around, checking out the place. It had been a long time since she was here –considering that Rockie had been living here now, and for that she was in Barcelona, so it was something she had to get used too again. She went walking around, seeing the things and whatever else was there. Are these the people we’re playing pretend spies for? Shayne and that boy of hers James? She asked while she looked at a picture. Her head turned back as she went back towards the couch and leaned on it, having enough of the looking around. There wasn’t much she could really do, she wasn’t the type of girl who came in, sat down and did anything instantly. She had manners though they rarely showed because of how ditzy she was. After seeing Rockie coming back out and tossing her phone to Lexie, she had opened it and found his number while getting her own phone out and programming the number into hers. I told you. Lucas won’t deny blondes, and I will get through to him. I’ll have to tell you the results of what I do after it happens.. And you rubbed off on me? Oh yes, yes you did.[/b] She said with a small laugh. Lexie had rolled her eyes, of course she was the one to say hi, but like Rockie had said, she must’ve rubbed off on Lexie a little too much. Hello honey. I missed you so much! This little town has been boring. Probably because all I’ve been doing is dancing and not enough mingling. [/b] Lexie shrugged a bit. Once she was finished getting Lucas’ number, she set Rockie’s phone on the table. Instantly, since she was waiting for Rockie, she started just texting away. Besides, it would pass the time until Rockie was ready. Like stated above, Lexie was a patient person. Do you want to go out, or just stay and order? I still want to play pretend spies though…[/b] Lexie felt like she was re-asking this. Rockie was usually the plan maker, and sometimes she had made some, each would get a say in the plans. Lexie would always agree with her on hanging out, clearly because she had nothing else to do in her time. She had known about time, and she knew that Rockie was a bit self-conscious only because of the way Lexie looked with how she had abs from dancing and how Rockie believed she was a flat tummy. Lexie had told her numerous times that she had looked fine, and she was pretty. It was easy for Rockie to be herself around Lexie, and it was easy for Lexie to be herself around Rockie. It was when Lexie was with new people and other people she tended to get really lost and freaked out a bit too where she will turn a bit ditzy. Well, not a bit, a lot actually. She was a type of girl that scared easily sometimes, but made it up with the way she danced to get comfortable in her surroundings. It was odd enough that sometimes Lexie sang to herself to even get her to be comfortable. It was a weird thing, but it seemed to help her ton with it though. Not many people understood that about her, but whatever, let them think what they want, it wouldn’t bother her. Then it had hit her, something was curious enough to ask some other questions. Where is that Shayne girl tonight? It was going to bug her now, wondering how come she couldn’t do the spying herself. But if Rockie had said she would do it and bring her, then she would be okay. Besides, Lexie believed that Shayne wouldn’t be a good pretend spy like she could. Lexie gave a content sigh, this time getting up from leaning the couch and heading over to a chair and sat down. Her back was getting tired of leaning anyways. It was better actually sitting down this time. She brought her finger to her lips, tapping them gently and grinned. You should tell me about Barcelona, Rockie. I wanna hear about the trip. Wait, where’s Barcelona located? Is it be viewable on a map? Here came the blonde stuff. Lexie wasn’t good with geography, but she managed to pass that class with the help of Rockie and that girl Cecilia she had somewhat befriended in high school. But hey, at least she had the help. And the other story you had to tell me. [/b] She added seconds later. tagged: soma/rockie status: finished words: 1059 notes: blahhh.... but here you go. template: me:)[/size][/blockquote]
