this post is tagged for noah asher whitmore. it is dunzo and has seven hundred and thirty four words. the one and only carolina liar contributed to this inspiration from the song show me what i'm looking for . she is looking sick and sexified wearing this outfit. this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes nevan makes my heart happy ______________________ The last thing that Evan Matthews had expected whenever she went to the club a few weeks ago was for Noah to ask her to the wedding. Hell, she had not expected Noah to actually be cute with her. Things between them were changing in ways that she had not expected, nor had she expected to actually like him. Noah had that charm about him, and he wanted to be with her. That was more than what she could say about someone else, but that person had been pushed far from her mind. Noah had never struck her as someone that wanted a relationship but that is what seemed to be happening with them. She had gone and bought a dress and was in the process of getting ready, when she got the text message saying he was on his way to pick her up. That man always made her smile, and it was just a simple text message. Whenever he was actually around her that was when she was able to be a little touchy feely. Something she had not done in a very long time, and Evan was glad that it was with Noah.
Her past was always coming back to haunt her, and the dress that she had bought reminded her of her junior year. The dress she had worn to the boarding school’s winter formal. A dance she had attended with none other than Kaler Scott, a man that constantly haunted her. But the blonde was so happy to be going to see one of her really good friends getting married. Miranda James had been a good friend to her since she came back to Arietta, but then again she had grown up with Jared Trent. It also did not hurt that Kaler was his best friend, but she was so happy. She had her dress on, her hair blown out and curled, when her door bell sounded. She bounced down the stairs to her door, only to be greeted by what seemed like a very nervous Noah. A bright smile graced her lips as she took him in. Noah always cleaned up nicely, and his silver tie matched her dress perfectly. There was one problem with his tie it was all goofy, and needed fixed. Evan looked at him and gently shook her head. “Noah, you are a mess.” She pulled him in gently and closed the door behind him. Still wearing her smile she grabbed his tie and tied it correctly. For being a man, you would think that he could tie his own tie. It was kind of cute that the blonde had to do it for him. That was when she grabbed his arm and followed him out of the house to the car.
The ceremony had been beautiful, and Evan knew that her life would get there eventually. She was happy to have these people in her life, and now they were just at the reception having a good time. She would have never imagined that this would have turned out so well between herself and Noah. They were just casual friends who had sex, and after that night in the club things seemed different. It was almost like they were settling down and into a routine. This was their first official date, and she sat there beside him not knowing what was going to happen tonight with them. She figured that it would be okay, as long as her two lives did not find each other. Kaler had made it very clear whenever she spoke to him that he did not care for the new man in her life. It was hard for her to understand, but Kaler was not the one that had been tossed aside for someone else. It had been the blonde that cared for him more than anything else, and now that she finally found someone that mattered to her he had to say something and been a complete ass hat. She looked over to Noah and set her hand on his gently before speaking. “Thank you for asking me here Noah. I am really glad that we are doing this, but why ask me? I am sure there are plenty of other girls that would have wanted to be your arm candy.” she smirked before taking a sip on her drink.

By no means was Noah Whitmore inexperienced when it came to women and how to please them. In the right situation, he could make a girl swoon over him with ease, and he would have them in his car and on the way to his home by the end of the night - if he was lucky, maybe even earlier. He could smooth talk them to death, hit them with pathetic pick up lines and have them laughing at his ridiculous jokes, all the while filling them with alcoholic beverages and sweeping them off their feet with his skillful dancing. The ladies adored him as much as he adored them, and there were very rarely any problems. Evan Matthews was the easiest of all the girls to get along with; she was smart and witty, beautiful, charismatic, and she knew his game better than he did. Though he didn't usually ask women out on dates - real, genuine dates - asking someone like Evan out should have been a breeze. He got along with her so well, could relate to her on a whole different level, so asking her a simple question like "Will you be my date to a wedding?" should have come naturally to him. On the contrary, he had stuttered and made a complete fool of himself, which practically made him a shoe-in for rejection. And then she said yes.
To say that he had been nervous to pick her up was an understatement; he had spent hours grooming himself, fixing his hair, making sure his teeth were as clean and white as they could possibly be, and he even wore his sharpest suit jacket over his favorite dress shirt. In his own way, he had gone all out to impress her; he wanted to do this date thing right. Needless to say, he still looked a mess when he showed up at her doorstep, and she had to fix his tie for him, which made him flush in embarrassment. At twenty four years old, he should have been able to put on a tie correctly. Apparently not. As she adjusted the damned thing for him, he couldn't help but let his eyes roam over her small frame, taking in the outfit that adorned her gorgeous figure. He swallowed, clearing his throat gently before even thinking about trying to compliment her. "You look -" he had to stop himself before he called her something foolish like hot or sexy, because she wasn't. She was so much more than that, she was "- perfect." And as stupid as that sounded, he couldn't help but realize that it was true. She was stunning, flawless, the epitome of perfection. And she was his today.
The ceremony had been as wonderful as was expected, the bride looking absolutely gorgeous in her gown and the groom beaming like a teenager who had just had sex for the first time. Noah couldn't help but wonder if he would ever find someone to settle down with and marry, or if he would always be the guy who slept around and had meaningless sex for the rest of his life. While that was all fun and swell, it wasn't how he wanted to spent the next twenty, forty, or sixty years. Not that he would be a huge player at the age of eighty four, anyway - he could never be as cool as Hugh Hefner. But, in all honesty, he didn't want to be the next Hugh Hef. He wanted to be like Jared Trent, who was lucky enough to spend forever and a day with a beautiful woman and all the kids they wanted. The reception had been nice too - a bit dramatic, but nice nonetheless. And Noah was just glad to be spending the time with Evan, who made the whole experience all the more fun. They talked and laughed, and even drank a bit, and Evan seemed to be genuinely enjoying herself as much as he was. The feeling of her hand against his had him turning his attention toward her, brow furrowing at her words. "You're not arm candy," he commented softly, his eyes meeting hers. She was smiling at him, as if the question hadn't been on her mind all night; and she had every right to ask it. Why had he chosen her? "I asked you because I like you." Noah shrugged casually, not yet realizing the value of his words. When he spoke it, he meant it in the sense that he enjoyed her company, not that he had feelings for her. But after the words left his lips and a brief silence hung between them did he finally look away from her, the words and their meaning finally coming together in his mind: He liked her.

this post is tagged for noah asher whitmore. it is dunzo and has eight hundred and four words. the one and only carolina liar contributed to this inspiration from the song show me what i'm looking for . she is looking sick and sexified wearing this outfit. this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes this is kinda crappy, sorry maggie <3 ______________________ The entire time that she had been doing whatever she was doing with Noah Whitmore, she had never expected him to take her on a date. Let alone expected him to take her to Jared and Randi’s wedding, but when he had asked her she beamed brightly and accepted his invitation. She also had never expected to see Noah fumbling over asking her to the wedding, but this was new territory for the two of them. Dating had not been in their terms of service, but this was a step up for the blonde girl. Since she had been left by the only person that she had cared about Evan had looked for someone to fill the void. Kaler had left a gigantic Kaler sized hole in her heart, but after that night in the bar she knew that things were different with Noah. That night though there was something different between the two of them, something that had caused her enough grief to go over to Kaler and tell him.
That could have gone so much smoother, but she was going to have to deal with the fact that Kaler and Noah were not going to get along with each other. Apparently they both thought that they were complete asshats to each other, but this was going to be hard on the blonde. If things actually did get serious with Noah then there was going to be a lot of dramatics. Kaler was extremely protective over her and she knew that. Evan replayed little moments of her night in the club with Noah and realized just how easy things were with him. He was charming, sweet, and kind, even if no one else saw it. He also was able to banter with her and very few people could keep up with her. Noah had the charm and ability to do so, and it made her appreciate the little things that he was doing. He was attempting something here, even if the two of them would not admit it. She fixed his silver tie as she stared up at him, feeling his eyes all over her frame. Her eyes connected with his as he spoke, and her face turned bright pink. She had never expected him to call her perfect, but the word slipped from his lips and she smiled. “Thank you. You don’t look so bad now that you are all put together.” she smirked at him before they made their way out of the house. Evan kept a smile on her face as they walked to the car and off to enjoy their day of festivities.
Jared and Randi had deserved this for as long as Evan could remember. They were perfect for each other, and for her to get to share in this special day. Jared looked completely giddy, like he always did and Randi looked absolutely stunning whenever she entered the church with Kade. This was what the blonde had wanted from the beginning, and she thought that she would have had it. Things in her life had changed drastically after everything happened in high school. She had never expected her life to turn into this, and she never expected to be taking a page out of Kaler Scott’s book by sleeping around. The blonde had not been the girl that slept around before she lost pieces of herself in the pregnancy that had ruined that innocent part of her. The reception had started off wonderful until the dramatics of Kade and Britt took over. She was just enjoying her time with Noah laughing and having a good time. It was not often that she got a break from everything in her life. Noah had the ability to make her forget about everything else in her life that was not perfect. Noah just opened up that part of her and she enjoyed it. When her hand had touched his though, it was like an electric current and her eyes locked on his. “Well if I’m not arm candy what am I?” She did not expect to be the girl at the wedding with Noah, and yes ever since he had asked her she wanted to know why. He spoke like it was something completely nonchalant, but to hear Noah admit that he liked anything was something spectacular. The silence was a little much, and she lifted her lips to catch his in a soft, simple kiss. Her eyes locked with his after their kiss, and she smiled “I like you too.” She wasn’t sure if she meant it in a sense as she wanted something serious or not, but she did like him. There was no denying that fact, she liked him and wanted to be with him.

There was no denying that the Whitmore boys had been blessed with great genes. They were beyond handsome, with bone structures that even the Gods would envy. But the Whitmore boys weren't well-known for their gentle personalities and awesome social skills. Rather, they were known for their devilishly good looks, their money, and the off-the-charts amount of women they took home each year. Noah used to boast about how he could easily get more girls than both of his brothers combined, but as of late, that wasn't something he was necessarily proud of anymore, but it was the way he grew up and the only way he knew how to live. Which was what made this whole ordeal so strange. Taking a woman of interest out on a date was a far cry from normal - or Noah's sense of normal, anyway - but having a woman of interest at all was even more strange. Not that he was necessarily complaining; Evan was good company, and she wasn't exactly hard to look at, either. He enjoyed spending time with her, and she made him feel comfortable, anxious, terrified, nervous, thrilled, and excited all at once. It was an odd combination of emotions, but it ultimately amounted to him wanting to spend as much time with her as humanly possible. Hence her becoming his date for the evening.
Vincent had taunted him about it earlier, and Noah nearly decked him in the face for it. He wasn't even sure what this thing with Evan really was. They never discussed labels or what would happen if they actually developed feelings for one another, mostly because something like this had never happened to him before, so he didn't really think it was necessary. It wasn't like he was in love with the girl or anything, but there was definitely more to this little relationship than sex; he respected her on a completely different level than he did other women, and she was the one girl that Noah honestly wouldn't mind having around all the time. That alone scared him. He barely knew this girl and he was already beginning to imagine running through Ikea with her like Tom and Summer in 500 Days of Summer, a movie he had been forced to watch with his mother when she finally spent an entire weekend at home. But that scene had stuck out in his mind; the two were happy and carefree, and he could see himself hovering over Evan on one of the beds while an Asian family checked out the attached bathroom. Honestly, all of this was beginning to freak him out.
Noah didn't know either Jared nor Randi very well, but he had received an invitation nonetheless. He would be lying if he said he had wanted to attend because, really, weddings were not his thing. Noah Whitmore didn't believe in love, and he didn't get his kicks from watching two people claim they were in love while dressing up in fancy outfits and exchanging ridiculously expensive wedding bands. The entire concept of marriage had always turned him off, and at first he had absolutely no intention of purchasing a crisp new suit to come and sway alongside the other wedding guests like he was actually enjoying himself. But as he stared into Evan's eyes that night at Fusion, he couldn't help himself. He wanted to take her somewhere nice, and what better place to take her than a wedding? He wouldn't have to pay for the food or anything. That may have sounded cheap, but really, it was just Noah not understanding how this whole 'date' thing worked. Either way, none of that really mattered now because here he was. Evan Matthew's date. "You're..." Noah's brow furrowed, confusion etched onto his handsome face. He appraised her curiously, trying to search for words. An explanation. Something. But nothing came. She wasn't arm candy, that was for sure, but he couldn't quite pinpoint exactly she was to him. Yes, she was his date. Yes, she was another one of his many fuck buddies. And yes, she was undeniably beautiful. But he didn't bring her here to show her off, to prove that he could get a legitimate date, or to make any of the other single girls in the room jealous enough to want to sleep with him. Honestly, he just wanted her around. He wanted to spend time with her and dance with her and, really, he wanted this to be something. "You're my date," he clarified with a shrug, not caring if that really did clarify anything at all or not. He was surprised that, after telling her he liked her, she kissed him. Actually, legitimately kissed him. Pressed her lips right up against his in the sweetest little kiss he had ever received, and one that wasn't during sex. Noah smiled down at her, reaching over to take her hand in his, lacing their fingers together easily. "Do you want to...um," he cleared his throat, motioning with his free hand to the door. "There's a garden thing back there. Do you want to go take a walk or something?" It may have been cold outside, but he wanted to spend time with her without the other guests hovering around and the sound of the Electric Slide blaring through a nearby speaker.

this post is tagged for noah asher whitmore. it is dunzo and has nine hundred and seventy five words. the one and only carolina liar contributed to this inspiration from the song show me what i'm looking for . she is looking sick and sexified wearing this outfit. this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes this is kinda crappy, sorry maggie <3 ______________________ To say that the blonde woman was a bit terrified of the budding relationship was an understatement. After Kaler there had not really been any relationships in her life, but it was because her head would never wrap around anyone else but him. She defended mistakes that he made and was always there to pick him up whenever he fell. Kaler was her first love, and that kind of love was extremely hard for her to break. She could not take that out of her head, hell she had done it to poor Jesse back in the day too. But sitting with Noah, this was the only time that she did not think Kaler. Whenever Noah was at her side she had no desire to go back to when things were simple. Mainly because things were simple in their own way with them. So they never discussed the possibility of a relationship, but here they were at one of her good friend’s wedding reception and they were happy. So Noah was a bit of a player, and she knew the reputation that he had built for himself. It was something that he could change if he wanted to, but that was not something she was looking for from him. She had known that when they had met that they were just going to get what they needed and move on.
That was when things had changed. Evan could feel herself getting semi-attached to the young male. If she could spend time with him she would rather be doing that. Telling Stella about what could possibly be happening between the two of them was a step. She had not expected that she could see anything more than casual sex with the club owner, but as she spent more and more time with him it was slowly building. That night at the club had turned into nothing but talking rather than ripping their clothing off and getting down to business. Something that the blonde had actually appreciated, and she thought it was endearing that he had wanted to talk. Evan could see a relationship if they were willing to get it off the ground, because they had the start of a foundation. Evan sat there next to him with her fingers laced in his, something that she had not done since high school and it felt right. It felt good to be doing it with Noah.
Evan Matthews had never given up on love, even if she had been heartbroken on a level that most people did not understand. The blonde had been pregnant at sixteen, her birthday was always goofy so she was able to start early, but then she had a miscarriage and her boyfriend graduated and left. Evan had been in her fair share of heartbreak and not just with men. That had crushed her more than anything possibly could have, and not many people knew about her. So to see people that were this in love and had cared about each other since they had come into each other’s lives made her eyes swell with tears. She was still innocent and still wanted to believe that this existed. If anyone was going to make things work between them it was Jared and Randi Trent, and she knew that if she could find someone this is where she wanted to end up. She wanted the big wedding, the white dress, and the whole shebang. She had figured that she would be attending the event alone, but Noah Whitmore had surprised her and asked her to be his date. She had asked what she was to him if she wasn’t arm candy, and she could see the confusion on his face. It almost made her smile, because she knew that smile at him would not have been the best course of action. Though the fact that he couldn’t come up with something better to explain what she was to him besides a date kind of saddened her; she did not let it bother her after all to be fair she wouldn’t have been able to completely answer that question either. “Alright then. I’m your date.” She smiled and she was surprised that she had kissed him. Evan was extremely affectionate, she enjoyed stealing kisses in public and holding hands, those were little things about her. Their fingers laced together felt right, like she had found someone that was able to distract her from the complete insanity that usually followed her around.
She met his eyes and this was complicated and yet simple. They were nervous around each other, and Evan really did feel like she was in high school. She followed the motion of his free hand before tuning back into the awkward little thing that was in beside her. A gentle smile caught her lips as she pulled herself to her feet, making sure to never let go of his hand. “A walk in the garden sounds perfect. Get us away from the craziness and gives us a chance to talk.” The main thing was she knew what was going on in her mind, and maybe this was worth maybe dating. Going out and figuring things out between them, but still not being labeled. She did not want to freak Noah out, but she could see something was there. She waited for him to start leading the way, when they made it to the door and realized that she had not brought her coat with her. She frowned slightly knowing that she was going to freeze in her dress. “It’s cold out here.” She looked up at him and was wondering what he was going to do to keep her warm and what they were going to do on their walk.

Asking Evan to take a walk outside in the winter was probably not the smartest idea Noah ever had, especially considering she was in a dress, and most dresses didn't have sleeves - hers included. He was feeling a bit foolish by the time the doors closed behind them, having wondered why he wanted to come out here at all, but it didn't take much thought for him to tug off his suit jacket and drape it over her bare shoulders, as if it was a second nature for him. Truthfully, he had never done that for a girl, and whenever he saw the act in movies or on television, it would cause him to roll his eyes. He may be more of a gentleman than most guys, but that seemed a bit too old school for him. And yet here he was offering up his jacket to keep Evan away from the bitter cold like he had done it hundreds of times before; it almost made him smile. It also seemed a bit too easy for him to slip his hand into hers again, lacing their fingers together like he was simply putting together the pieces of a puzzle. They walked together in silence for a while, enjoying the peacefulness of being together and away from the raucous inside before Noah turned to her, grinning at how small she looked in his jacket. "I know you want me to explain what this is and what I'm feeling, but-" Noah sighed, his brow knitting together as he tried to figure out how exactly he would go about wording all of this. He still wasn't quite sure what he was feeling or what they were doing and why he had honestly asked her here; all of it was a complete and total mystery to him. Yes, he liked her. He just wasn't sure how much yet. "I don't know. I don't do this kind of thing, this-this...dating thing. But you're different, and I like spending time with you." Explaining his feelings was proving to be even more difficult than trying to figure out what it was that he was feeling, but he smiled. He smiled and took her face between his hands and pressed his forehead against hers, letting his eyes close briefly. "You make me feel alive," he whispered, unsure what that ultimately meant, but it would have to do...for now.

So the idea behind coming outside was rather romantic, it was going to give them a chance to talk. Whether it was the subject matter that she needed to hear or just getting to know each other better than they did she was okay with that. The blonde woman felt him moving beside her, and then his coat was soon gracing her shoulders. She looked up at him and smiled, it was a step she had not expected and then his fingers were instinctively being laced with her own. She knew that she was quite the site to see being swallowed whole in his jacket, but this was where she wanted to be. She did not know how this was supposed to work seeing as how she knew who Noah had been whenever she started to being involved with him. He was not the settling type, but as each day moved forward they seemed so settled into their ways. This was their first date, if that was what you were to call it. She waited, and then he turned towards her. His voice rang through her mind like a bell, because she had no idea what they were. They were both on the same page, not knowing exactly what they were. Evan’s dating life really had consisted of Kaler, but that was another story and a long chapter in the life of Evan Matthews. “Dating has never been my forte either. But it’s okay. You don’t have to explain if you can’t because I can’t either. I know I like spending my time with you, and that you are the one I want to spend my time with.” Her eyes looked up at him and were dancing with excitement. That was when Noah took her face in his hands and pulled his forehead against hers. Her eyes closed just knowing that this is where she wanted to be, and it was hard to know that she could fall in love. Yes, she could very well fall in love with Noah Whitmore if she let herself, and his simple words sparked that in her. “You make me feel alive.” and that was all it took. She opened her eyes and looked at him. She let her lips find his, and she was kissing him gently softly and sweetly. Evan let her hand that was not laced in his fingers wrap up around his neck. “I know that this is exactly where I want to be.”

The more Noah thought about it, the more he realized just how big this all was for him. Holding hands, going out on dates, giving her his jacket to wear. It was all stuff that couples did. Couples that were able to stay faithful to one another. Couples that accepted and embraced this whole monogamy thing for what it was and didn't question it. Were they a couple? Noah honestly didn't know. Apparently, Evan didn't either. She seemed to be just as confused as he was and, while that wasn't exactly good news because he really would have liked some clarification, he felt slightly relieved to know that, whatever this was, they both enjoyed it. A sigh passed through his lips with their foreheads pressed together, which was when her lips caught his and his arms snaked around her thin waist, pulling her closer to him. His words caused her to smile, a slight upward twitch of his lips and, for the first time, he realized just how much the time he spent with her meant to him. He didn't nag her or feel the need to text him eighty five times in fifteen minutes when he didn't answer her back right away, she didn't poke or prod into his private life and, to top it all off, she wasn't clingy. Everything he thought his first 'girlfriend' would be...she wasn't. She was perfect. "Evan Matthews," he whispered, surprising himself with the way her name rolled off of his lips with such ease and finesse, as if he were born to say her name. Cheesy? Yes. But, he really had no other way to describe it. Noah didn't really have anything else to say, just wanted to say her name for one reason or another. So, rather than trying to come up with some lame excuse as to why he said it at all, he leaned in and kissed her once more. His hands drifted to her hips, giving her waist a light squeeze as he did so. "Come on, it's late. I'll take you home." To be honest, leaving her was something he really didn't want to do, but the night had to come to a close eventually, and he wanted to end it on a good note. With all of the drama that had ensued today, he and Evan had managed to escape it all, completely content with getting lost in their own little world.
