The sun was high in the sky now, blaring through the slits in the blinds and onto the bed. They struck the closed eyes of a young male, in which he only grumbled at and tried to bury his face into the neighboring female. He sighed in content when he found comfort, nuzzling into her neck and holding her close. His hair was every which way, long enough stay that way though, looking like a bad case of sex hair. He removed his face from the female's love-marked neck, to pull the sheet over his head, not wanting to wake up just yet. He didn't even want to turn to look at the time, just because he knew it was late. Sleeping in was the best feeling though, walking up all refreshed and ready to start the remainder of the day. The sun was sorta ruining that bliss though, and he went through this nearly every morning as well. The female beside him didn't even stir, he never understood why but maybe he was just a lighter sleeper. He rolled over, in the process, releasing the female from his hold and well being on the edge of the bed. His eyes still closed, it didn't seem like he was worried very much about where he was on the bed, and before you knew it, well... lets just say it didn't end very well.
Falling out of bed was never a nice way to wake up, but of course that is indeed what this male did. Right out of bed, onto the cold floor, without a thing on. He whined for a few moments, just laying there until missing his warmth. Getting up lazily, he ducked under the covers once more and clung to the female next to him. That was better, much better indeed, he barely even opened his eyes during this time. He shifted his arm around the small waist of the female, letting his hand come to a rest on her hip. Oh, what he would give to have mornings like this always, and truthfully he did for the past few weeks. Same female, which was surprising for Talan indeed. This position was so comforting, so relaxing and for once in his life, he felt like he belonged somewhere. Sighing in satisfaction, he kissed the top of the female's head softly, opening one eye to make sure he didn't wake his brown haired beauty with his thump on the floor. That would of been more embarrassing than he would of planned, but it wouldn't be the first time. Yeah, this girl had seen him through worse, be it licking a pole when it was cold out or just being stupid drunk at some party. She was his confidant though, and he was best when he was around her.
Vidette Garland was her name, and Talan thought the world of her. They were close friends, best friends if you really want to call them that, though they were more on benefit terms. He could say those words, the three little ones that no one ever wanted to hear when you weren't really in love with the other, but he was. It was bad though, they had been friends for a while, and he felt like something like this could ruin them forever. He placed that at the back of his mind, knowing that all he wanted was this girl, and to never be away from her. She'd find someone though, and he'd be a distant memory to her, no matter the good times and the fun. Talan would never forget these moments though, the way his fingers felt running through her hair, or the way her skin felt. Their first date, the first time they had sex, they had a lot of firsts together. Maybe one day things would go great and they'd end up being married, Talan knew he wasn't that lucky though. He'd be alone, still striving to be an actor when he was stuck being a bus boy somewhere. He always joked about this model career as well, something more that he knew was only to joke around with and not a real deal.
After he was settled again, he opened his eyes to peer at the sleeping girl next to him, or well he wasn't sure if he woke her up or not. She still looked peaceful though, and these were the best moments of all. If he could, he'd keep her in bed all day, just like this without a care in the world outside this bedroom. They were young though, they were still in need of attending school, and all of that. Talan wasn't the best student, he'd ditch class just to make sure he'd catch Vidette in time, obviously he wanted to give her the world. Was he stupid to be in love this young? Probably, he was most likely just setting himself up to be broken hearted. That would just come later, he knew she wouldn't want him in years to come, so he left her options open. His fingers slid up her side, carefully running back down in a soothing manner. "Viddyyyyy." He whispered, kissing her forehead once more to see if she'd wake up. Well, lets just say he looked at the time by now and it was rather late in the afternoon. Busy night, which just equal a very late sleeping in day, which was just fine to him. No work, no school, no nothing today and he was enjoying the sleep. But, today, maybe they'd do something together, he wanted to cook her dinner, that was for sure, other than that... be lazy. "Vid... V... lovebug." He tried again, this time looking down at her and thinking of ways to wake her up. "You asked for it." He leaned down and licked her cheek, grinning widely and laughing. Oh, this was a normal morning for them, normal indeed. word: 1021 tag: maggie as vidette<3 notes: omg cute. PAST THREAD.

Wind whipped through the young girl's hair as she gripped the railing encompassing the bow of the yacht, a peaceful smile gracing her features. The sun gleamed off of her tanned skin, warming her to the core. A pair of arms wrapped around her from behind, face nuzzling into her neck. Her head tilted backwards just as a pair of lips came in contact with her forehead, and the person cooed her name. But he sounded distant, faint, almost intangible. Her eyes fluttered open, squinting against the harsh sun, unable to make out the face of her partner with such a harsh glare. "Talan?" she whispered, reaching a hand back to touch his face. He said her name again, and she could barely make out the hint of a smile tugging at his beautiful lips. Her hand touched the side of his face but he didn't feel real, didn't feel there, and suddenly a fleeting sense of panic set in. Why couldn't she see who it was? Why didn't he feel tangible like he was supposed to? Was he not a person at all? Her mouth ran dry as the man leaned in, the panic coming to a halt as a wet tongue flicked across her cheek. All of a sudden the scene faded and light beat against her closed eyelids, a groan slipping from her lips at the new sensation. Her cheek still felt wet and she could feel the presence of someone watching her; the panic swelled in her stomach again as she struggled to open her eyes against the sun, wondering if this person would feel more real. She reached up to rub her eyes, breath coming out in soft, short puffs as they finally fluttered open and focused on the handsome man in front of her. "Talan," she smiled, both the word and the action heavily laden with sleep. It had just been a dream. The panic disappeared once again, and Vidette pushed herself up on her elbows to properly greet her...what? As far as she was concerned, Talan Davis was not her boyfriend. He acted like her boyfriend, and she treated him like her boyfriend, but they had never actually put a label on the relationship after it had evolved into this. Whatever this was. They had somehow gone from being best friends to holding hands, cuddling, stealing kisses, and each others' virginity. She supposed what they had could be considered friends with benefits, but the word 'love' had been tossed back and forth between them in a more-than-friendly sense, more than once. There was a lot more to this relationship than benefits, but Viddy was almost scared to find out what it was.
Despite her young age and obvious naivety, Vidette Garland could not be written off as being foolish. She was an intelligent girl - not the brightest in her class, but intelligent nonetheless - and she was wise for her years. Having a big family really put things in perspective for her, and she knew a lot more about the world at a very young age than most children should. She knew that the concept of true love was a falsity and most marriages ended in divorce anymore, and a lot of that was in part to the dissatisfaction that coincided with monogamy. Most people couldn't understand the concept of fidelity and often found themselves seeking the benefits that other people could provide them outside of their relationship. Vidette's parents had thought it wise to teach her from a young age how wrong such behavior was, especially considering many of her aunts and uncles displayed the behavior on a regular basis as if it were no big deal. So, to say that Viddy had lost all faith in a fairytale romance and love was an understatement. However, lying here beside Talan had her questioning her beliefs time and time again. What they had - this easy, light-hearted relationship - sure felt like love, and if it wasn't love, it was sure as hell close. He was the first boy she had ever allowed herself to get this involved with as of yet, and the only person she felt a strong attachment to. He was sweet and kind, and her mind often drifted back to his adorable smile and the way he felt snuggled up against her at night. She caught herself day dreaming about him on more than one occasion, and that sensation of butterflies would erupt in her stomach whenever he wrapped his strong arms around her and kissed her forehead. He was something else, and Vidette could honestly say that she was happy.
She turned on her side and snuggled into Talan's warmth, littering his bare chest with soft kisses. "I'm going to forgive the fact that you licked my cheek because you're cute. But it was really gross." Her head tilted upwards to look at him, face scrunching up in playful disgust. Her fingers drifted up and down his arm, humming a purr of approval as his muscles rippled beneath her fingertips. "You know you're a really nice sight to wake up to," she teased, returning to kissing his chest. And he was; Talan was one of the most attractive guys Vidette had ever laid eyes on. He wasn't a stud or the typically attractive jock, rather he possessed an adorably awkward kind of attractive. He was taller than her, slightly gangly, and while he was definitely toned he wasn't outright ripped. But his smile was orgasm-inducing and made her weak in the knees, and his dark eyes were warm and caring. He was precisely her type, which could have been exactly what led their once innocent relationship to progress into the whatever that it was now. It was then that her gaze settled on the clock behind Talan's head, another groan slipping her lips as she untangled herself from him and rolled over onto her back, eyes set on the ceiling. "We probably should get up now, huh?" The disappointment in her voice was hard to miss, for she could lay in bed with him like this all day, but it was late and she would feel seriously unproductive if they got absolutely nothing done.
