Walking around in the snow was not an idea of fun for the tiny brunette that was currently wandering around this town. She hated this place everything about it was just stupid, and the only good thing was that there were plenty of people to keep her distracted. Hadley was only walking around because she had nothing better to do at the moment, Tea had disappeared for whatever reason probably looking for a girl who would do something for her. Hadley needed a day to be away from things that were on her mind, she had wanted a cigarette and the cloud of smoke that followed her around was evidence of that. Her parents knew that she did it, and they really could not stop her since she was eighteen years old. She was legally allowed to do what she wanted, and she just did not want to be cooped up in the house again. She needed an escape plan, and since she was not allowed to drive her parents car she had to walk everywhere that she wanted to go. So she got herself dressed and layered up well before she started out on her trek to go off on the town. Of course her mother demanded to know where she was going, Hadley looked at her and just shook her head. “Really mom, I am not going anywhere. Maybe shopping, but I am walking so leave me the fuck alone.”

[/color] As she said her departing words she slammed the door shut and started walking.

Hadley was not the kind of girl to sit and do nothing all afternoon. In fact she enjoyed letting the fresh air hit her lungs as she inhaled long and hard on her cigarettes. So she was a bit of chain smoker, and it was mostly her parents fault. She had not smoked like this since she picked the habit up in New York; however, moving to Arietta had made Hadley even more rebellious. She hated her parents for putting her here on this god forsaken piece of earth and hated how they were trying to blame it all on her. If they did not want to uproot their entire family, well it would not have been hard. They could have put the eldest of the twins in rehab or done something with her. So she was caught in their bathroom strung out, drunk off her ass, and stoned; she took a bad combination of drugs that night, and had driven her beautiful little car into a telephone pole. Somehow she had managed to walk her way back the brownstone that her family owned. Hadley was in some bad ways, but no they thought taking her out of the big city was what she needed. Hadley was going to find her own way to stick it to her parents, and that was that. She had her joint laying in her pack, but she had a better idea of how to pass her time since Tea was no where to be found. The bitch bailed on her the night before after they made it too the beach, but Hadley had a pretty good night that evening. She had met someone, someone that was a little bit different than anything she had expected before. Thankfully she had saved the name and number of the adorable male who had captured her interest. She didn’t even try to hook up with him in her state last night, which said something about how she felt about him.

Calling Talan had been a good thing, because he made her laugh and teased and taunted him. It was how it was working, and it was a dynamic that Hadley had not really had before. Most of the men in her life were just a casual thing, but Talan was someone she wanted to get to know. Someone that actually intrigued her, and she had popped up on his back to give him a good bye kiss that night. Hadley could actually be a sweetheart when she wanted to be, and something about this guy brought that out in her. Even though she was a bit on the forward side, because she was completely intent on climbing into his bed with none of her clothes on. The best way to gain back all of the body heat that she was loosing as she walked through the snow, was with another human being cuddled up next to her. Now Hadley was not about to let it just be cuddling, at least that was not her intentions, because she was sober. She liked having sex with people sometimes when she was sober, and Talan was someone she would not mind doing that with. Others though, would never be in her good graces when she was sober.

So she finally reached the apartment building by the strip of shops, and started to climb the stairs to Talan’s apartment. She was still talking to the boy as she climbed the door, and she was glad that the door was going to be unlocked. That was until Talan decided he was going to try and lock her out! Hadley had been walking around the town for almost two hours, and the kicker was that she did not have a coat. The genius that she was had left it on the fucking hook when she slammed the door in her mother’s face. Hadley would not have been happy if she would have had to trek back out in the snow, but he was good at teasing her. It was a dynamic that she was enjoying, because not many people would be getting away with trying to make her into a relationship kind of girl, but she could see that as a possibility with him. Not that she would say that she would right now. Right now she wanted to get to know him a little better, and if it happened to have something to do with the fact that he was stunning, smart, and just knew how to make her giggle then it was a good thing. She heard the door unlock and then she opened the door and basically pounced into Talan’s arms. She was freezing, but that was what she wanted. She needed the warmth of not only the apartment but his body against hers. “It is fucking cold out without a coat. So warm me up, please? I am fucking cold.”[/color] She managed to snake an arm out from her hug and locked the door. Smirking at him “Told you I wouldn’t forget to lock the door.”[/color] then she let a laugh escape her lips as she clung to him in desperation for body heat.
