Did you know that walking in the sand softens your feet more then a pedicure can?

Did you know that in every episode of Seinfeld there is at least one reference to Superman? This is what happens when your stuck watching reruns.

I never watched Seinfeld before. I don't really watch TV. Is it any good?

I wouldn't recommend it. It's a pretty old show. I'm even surprised that it's on re-runs. But you don't watch TV? That's rather rare where I come from.

I don't like old shows. They're a bit boring. I tried sitting through one episode of I Love Lucy, turned off the TV when I was three minutes into the show. Yeah, I don't really watch TV. I have better things to do. Where do you come from?

A bit boring? They're what get me to sleep. I'm from New York but I moved here six years back, so I'm pretty much a local.

Yeah, well it takes a lot to get me sleepy. I always wished to go to New York. I'm from Hawaii.

It's never too late to go. I have to visit regularly according to my parents, anyway. Hawaii? You're a long way from home. What brings you here?

Maybe sometime later in this year. I wish my parents made me visit them regularly. Sometimes I wonder if they'll even remember me if it weren't for the fact that I call and write to them. Yeah I am a long way away from home. I got bored of Hawaii so I decided to move here. Why did you leave New York?

You've got time. New York isn't going anywhere fast. At least I don't think so. I'm guessing you're not particularly close with your 'rents? If so, we're on the same boat. They're the reason I left the big city. My parents have two large sticks up their ass', too focused on their careers, I fell behind and packed my bags and left. So, now I'm training to be a Surgeon. I admire your reason though, it takes a lot to just get up and leave everything behind just because you're 'bored'.

Nope. I don't even know their birthday. Kind of sad now that I think about it. A surgeon, huh. Sounds like a pretty awesome job since you get to save people. Now I know you're being sarcastic about that. But no it was pretty easy to leave Hawaii since there wasn't anything there that was important to me.

That is sad, but obviously there is always a reason for things. Probably better that way. I think that's what attracted me to it, helping people. I can only imagine how amazing it would feel to know that you saved someone. This will be my last year and I'll be qualified. Ahh, was my sarcasm that heavy?! How's life treating you here though?

I wish I could help people, but every time I try to it only makes things worse. Or maybe I'm not doing it right. Life's good in Arietta. No neighbors who hate me, parents who are controlling, and a dog that wants to bite my head off. I can't imagine a better place to start a new life.

Some people are gifted with it and others...not so much. What is it you're interested in anyway? That's good to hear, you're life seems to be a hell of a more interesting than my own.

Well I really like surfing. Use to be a professional surfer back home, now I kind of given up on that. Then there's writing. I use to be a English major before I dropped out of college. Sometimes having an interesting life isn't always the best.
