I CAN'T EVEN...

so yeah, i made this board specifically so i can rant, but i need to get this out somehow. i don't know how many of you know who aaron tveit is, and you probably don't just yet. but he's an actor, a phenomenally, wickedly talented actor who i had the pleasure of knowing since i was a young kid. he and his father used to sing at my church, and i remember thinking he had one of the most brilliant voices i had ever heard. everyone told him he had potential, and we all knew that he'd go on broadway some day, so it came as no surprise that, once he graduated high school, he made it his mission to do just that. yes, he graduated from my high school only a year or two after my older sister, and studied under mr. gregory bennett, who was my actor's studio teacher my junior and senior years. bennett would always gush about aaron and he even took us to see a few of his performances on broadway - when he was in wicked and next to normal - and my junior year i was lucky enough to land a position in an acting seminar with him. he was charming (and gorgeous, omg) and he remembered me from when i was a little girl, which i thought was cute.

my senior year it was revealed that he was going to guest star on a few episodes of gossip girl as nate archibald's cousin, trip van der bilt. so naturally we all got excited and watched the episodes he was on, despite if we watched the show or not. and it was great. he was great. so we all had that whole 'i'm so proud of him' moment and moved on, because we all thought he would go back to doing broadway. but, do you KNOW what i just found on tumblr? this. a gif of aaron and james fucking franco. together. from a movie. i literally did the biggest double take ever when i saw that. first off, aaron in a movie? yes! <3 second, aaron being reblogged and liked all over tumblr? YES <3 my proud level went through the roof. and then, out of curiosity, i checked his imdb page only to discover that he's doing a movie (premium rush) with joseph gordon-levitt. now, for those of you that know me, you know i'm a huuuugeeee jgl fan. i mean like...huge. i've been watching him since i was little, and i admire him way more than i probably should. so you can only imagine how apeshit i went when i saw that our aaron was starring in a movie with my favorite actor. needless to say, i'm so ridiculously proud of him. he's come so far, and i've watched him go from an awkwardly adorable teenager to a handsome young man, and i get to watch his career skyrocket. you just wait, he'll be the next young heartthrob or whatever. but, either way, i think you should all watch the movie howl, and premium rush when it comes out, and keep an eye out for him. because let me tell you, the guy is fantastic. also, who wouldn't want to stare at this face for hours on a big screen?
