SAVANNAH JOY MURRAY
SEVENTEEN . HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR
[scrolly:h(250),w(450),sy]
Savannah was born in Chicago to a what started out as a loving family. However, when she started school, Savannah's father left her and her mother. After that things started getting tough. He was their support and stability, without him the Murray's were nothing. Anna's mother ended up selling her body for cash, leaving her young daughter to stay with friends or fend for herself. Soon, Anna's mother found herself a pimp and took off with him, leaving Savannah alone in the city. She remained with her friend until their parents began to get suspicious and wonder where her mother had gotten too. Savannah herself was afraid she wasn't coming back and her worst nightmare came true the night she learned her mother had in fact abandoned her. Savannah was then taken by child services and put in the system, staying at an orphanage for a few years before she was placed in a foster home. It was a nice family, but they had five other children which didn't leave time for individual attention. Soon, Savannah was moved once again to a new home, a lovely family she would have loved to stay with. However, her foster father lost his job and since her foster mother was a stay-at-home mom, they were unable to adequately provide for Savannah and she was once again moved to a new home. Anna bounced around to at least three homes before she got tired of being just another number in the system and ran away from her last home. She sneaked onto a bus headed for Maine and the next thing she knew she was here in Arietta. She knew child services would be looking for her, but she was going to be legal in a year and capable of being on her own. If she could just stay out of their radar, she would finally be able to live her life the way she wanted and track down her mother.
Savannah is a very private person, considering she ran away from child services. She doesn't particularly want people to know this detail in case they decide to turn her in. Still, she doesn't like to draw attention to herself by being all mysterious so she lets her true personality show. She's spunky and outgoing, rather sarcastic but she means well. She has a great sense of humor, but their are certain subjects that she can be sensitive about, like anyone. She does have a mischievous side that tends to get her into trouble, but never enough to be arrested or involved with people of authority in any way, she knows better than that. However, that isn't to say some things can't go too far. Friends can go either way with Savannah. She would have a great deal because of her friendly and spunky personality, but on the other hand not too many because the more she has, the more chances they will find out about her running away. She puts her full trust in her friends but has an inner fear that they would rat her out. Enemies would more than likely be from Savannah's sarcasm. She doesn't always say things that are nice, but she doesn't ever mean to insult people on purpose...well, sometimes she does. Still, people can take her words the wrong way. Romances aren't something Savannah is looking for, but they are bound to happen when least expected. She does like guys and is friendly with them, but she never looks for anything more than friendship. If it happens, then it happens.

CONNOR JEREMIAH WELLS
TWENTY . COLLEGE SOPHOMORE
[scrolly:h(250),w(450),sy]
All right so Connor here is a Navy brat...or, he was. His father was a Lieutenant in the Navy and they traveled around a lot to the various bases. They even spent a year overseas in Germany, where Connor learned a bit of conversational language in German. Even though they never had a steady home, he always had a steady family. Yes, things were hard, especially with the moving and his father always working, but there was never any home issues between his parents, at least that he could tell. It was obvious his mother was lonely a lot of the time, but she helped get through it by spending time with her children. Connor is the middle child of three. He has an older brother and a younger sister. The last place they lived before Connor went off to college was New York. He's not a big fan of the city though so when it came to choosing colleges, he found a place in New England, not in a city. He is currently studying communications and working at the local radio station.
Connor is a pretty laid back guy who takes things as they come, it was how he never went crazy with moving so much. He learned to take life one day at a time, which meant that he never really had any future plans for himself until he started college. He would what people call an "average Joe" there's nothing really spectacular about him, nothing that really stands out. He isn't a class clown, but he's not quiet either. He speaks when he has something to say but also know when to not speak at all. He loves his family dearly and visits them often, unless they move further away. Connor's friends would be few and far between. He's a loyal and trusting friend who enjoys hanging out and having a good time, but he doesn't really have a best friend because he moved around so much. However, he could definitely have met someone in college that he became really close with. He's the friend to come to when you're in trouble, day or night. I don't really see him having too many enemies but no one is liked 100% of the time, so anything can happen. He can hold a grudge depending on how severe the incident is and he will stick up for his friends. Romance is complicated for Connor. He loves the idea of being in a committed relationship but whenever he comes close to being in one, he backs off. On the other hand, he doesn't like guys who sleep around with a bunch of girls...even though in the end that is pretty much what he does. He just does it over a longer period of time with one girl at a time.

KAIDEN ZACHARY WELLS
TWENTY-FOUR . TOURIST
[scrolly:h(250),w(450),sy]
Kaiden here is a Navy brat. His father was a Lieutenant in the Navy and the Wells traveled around a lot to the various bases. They even spent a year overseas in Germany, where Kaiden, like his siblings, learned a bit of conversational language in German. Even though they never had a steady home, he always had a steady family. Yes, things were hard, especially with the moving and his father always working, but there was never any home issues between his parents, at least that he could tell. It was obvious his mother was lonely a lot of the time, but she helped get through it by spending time with her children. Kaiden is the oldest of three children. He has a younger brother, Connor, and a younger sister. When Kaiden turned 18, he followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Navy. He's been in for 6 years, working his way slowly up the ranks. He is now Petty Officer Second Class. For the past six months, Kaiden has been aboard the USS Ronald Reagan* for the past six months which just docked in Newport, Rhode Island. He has a few weeks leave and is spending some of it visiting his brother in Arietta.
Kaiden is what most people imagine military to be. Strong, confident, protective of what is theirs, and extremely patriotic. Not to mention very good looking in uniform. Kaiden loves his country and his family, which was why he decided to follow in his father's footsteps and join the Navy. He's thinking of moving over to the Coast Guard and train with Search & Rescue. Living on aircraft carriers for months at a time just doesn't suit him. He loves what he does, but he also enjoys being on land whenever possible. Anyway, since docking in Newport, Kaiden has been in a party mood, which is a bit out of his element. Normally, he tends to be so serious. He has a rather dry sense of humor and tends to keep to himself. He's friendly when approached by others, but rarely will he start the conversation. Kaiden will definitely have friends. He is as loyal as they come, especially to the other Petty Officers and Seamen he works with; they are like his family. He's also an easy person to get along with and someone you can count on. He doesn't run from anything, no matter what it is. He stands up for himself in a fight and will stand up for his friends. Kaiden's romances are few and far between. He's had past girlfriends, but none since joining the Navy. During his leave, he will definitely have flings and one night stands because he's out partying quite a bit. Kaiden also has an online relationship going with a girl that he believe he's in love with. They have been corresponding for almost a year now and things are getting a bit serious; so he thinks. Like I mentioned before, Kaiden will stand up for himself in a fight so any enemies had better watch themselves. He's a military man so he's trained for combat. Not necessarily hand-to-hand, but he can hold his own in a fight. There is a bitter rivalry between Navy and Army as well as Navy and Coast Guard, even though the two work together a great deal.
*The USS Ronald Reagan is currently deployed in the Pacific IRL, but I couldn't find which carriers were docked where so, there you have it.
