This was really the best day of the young man’s life. There had been several other good days, like winning a state title on the high school football team back in the glory days, riding a high that didn’t feel like it could end. There was the day he had gotten his driver’s license, which was essentially the most important test he would ever pass. Several other moments could have potentially qualified for the best day ever of Jared Trent’s life, but none of them would even compare to what he had just done today. Today, he had married his best friend of six years, and he had no doubt in his mind that she was the only person in the world that would ever be able to make him this happy. Jared and Randi had been friends for so long, and throughout the course of that friendship other feelings had started to develop. Of course, Jared had always been blind, not realizing what he had had right in front of him all along and him being a little slow to put the pieces together. He had every right to fear that this gorgeous, amazing young woman wouldn’t look at him the same way that he looked at her, but Jared was never one to hold back. Once he had realized that she was absolutely what he wanted, he went for it. Sure, there was the chance that she would crush him, in which case he would have picked up the pieces of his broken heart and continued to be her friend regardless. However luck had been on his side, and she had agreed to be his forever.
Today, they had made that official in front of their friends and family, sliding those delicate gold bands onto each other’s fingers and becoming husband and wife. The ceremony was beautiful, and nothing less had been expected from Miranda James. But, what Jared had been paying attention to was not the decorations or how many people were there or how they were all dressed; his eyes had been for Randi only, and she had quite literally taken his breath away when he had seen her in that dress, walking toward him. Today, they had gotten married, and it was really a big, bad, scary step to take in life but as long as he was taking it with Randi, Jared knew that he could handle whatever came their way. The reception came next, and of course it was one hell of a party. There was so much liquor, and not enough people to disperse it to so almost everyone that stayed to thoroughly enjoy themselves did just that with way too much alcohol in their systems. There had been a few dramatic moments, involving Kade and Kaler, and while some people made big deals about those incidences and said that they had ruined the wedding, Jared just grinned. He had known that this was going to be the day when all hell broke loose, and it certainly made his and Randi’s wedding a little more memorable. Jared enjoyed it either way, letting Randi kick out the trouble makers and just having a good time with her and everyone that got to remain.
Before Kaler Scott had been taken away in the back seat of a police cruiser, he had given Jared and Randi his wedding gift and it was something so amazing that Jared didn’t know how he was ever going to thank his best friend enough for it. Seriously, a two week honeymoon trip to the Caribbean? That was so, so great and Jared couldn’t have been more excited as he had gone home to pack his things. Then he and Randi had been off to the hotel where they would spend their wedding night in its finest honeymoon suite before getting on a plane the next morning for their real destination. The hotel in Portland was bigger than Jared had imagined, but he had been a ball of energy as they had been driven there thanks to Kaler’s awesome planning, and he really couldn’t believe that this was really adding to the most perfect day he had already gotten to have. Their bags were taken by a bell boy, and they were shown to their suite. Jared did the traditional, dorky thing of lifting Randi up into his arms and carrying her over the threshold, but she was put back on her feet almost immediately when Jared saw the pure size of the suite. It was bigger than the house that he and Kade shared, and the windows were from the ceiling to the floor. It was just so huge, and Jared took off across the living room area for the first window, pressing himself flat against it and peering down at the city below. “Randi! Look at this!!” Then he was off to the next window, purely amazed. He turned around, seeing some bottles on the counter and rushing to them, seeing some nice Malibu awaiting them. “Coconut Rum, Randi!” Oh yeah, this was worse than the kid in the candy store.

She had been the new freshman and had caught the eye of most of the men in Arietta High School. There were two that actually mattered to her, one ended up being her best friend and go to guy whenever things happened, and the other was her best friend, partner in crime, and now husband. The only thing that she had ever wanted since she laid eyes on Jared Trent was to be his, and it had only taken them six years to do it. Walking into the church had been the easiest thing in the world, and the butterflies and nervousness was not really something that was buzzing around her stomach. When Jared had asked her to be his in the igloo, she was so thankful that he had finally realized that she was totally in love with him. When she looked at him, the only thing she saw was her life with him. So when she put her wedding dress on that afternoon, all she could think about was being his forever. That was the only thing that she had ever wanted, and when she entered the church that afternoon her eyes were on Jared. No one else mattered; no one could distract her from the fact that she was committing her life to the only person that she had ever loved and the only person that ever understood her completely and totally. Randi was finally getting the happy ending that she knew that she deserved, and that was what had made this all worth while.
Her day was absolutely amazing, and that was not because she was dancing and partying. It was because from that moment on she was going to take each hard, scary step with her husband beside her. She constantly looked down at her left ring finger to see those two rings right around her finger. That is what made it all real, because she could look around this party at all the smiling faces and know the only face she wanted to was Jared’s. Dancing around with everyone was fun and that was what made her realize that this party was in celebration of what she had wanted eternity for. The young bride was having a good time, except whenever she realized what was going on around her. The alcohol in everyone’s system was going to cause drama. She also knew that a lot of drama was going to ensue, especially because the people that had all of the drama were both Jared and Randi’s friends or family. She knew that Kaler was going to have some monsterous disaster of dramatics. He had Shayne, Izzy, and Evan all in the same room, and then there was always Kade and Britt. As much as Randi loved both of those men, they were not going to get away with the trouble. No they did not ruin her wedding day, because nothing could. The bride wore a bright smile, but she had absolutely no problem sending Kade and Britt home. She just did not want their drama polluting her happy day; if they wanted to argue and fight then they could and would do it elsewhere. Izzy didn’t even need thrown out; she just left on her own. Then there was the fact that Kaler had ended up in the backseat of a police car. That was the one that truly just struck a nerve with her, but it was Kaler. He was not going to back down from a fight, and she knew that.
The funny thing was that out of everyone that she was disappointed to see leave it had been Kaler that struck her the most. He had just given the couple the absolute most perfect wedding gift in the entire world. He had paid for their entire honeymoon, and was sending them on a two week escapade in the Caribbean. Miranda Trent knew that this was absolutely the best thing that could have happened to them, because their plan had been to wait until the summer to enjoy a honeymoon. She should have known better, but she really did not believe the stories that Kaler had all this money to spend. Now she knew, and she was thankful that he wanted Jared and herself to go have a good time being married. Now this was where the night got tricky, because this was the part of the evening that she had not been looking forward too. She packed her things, grabbing all the bathing suits that she had and the summery clothes that she had in her access. This was absolutely amazing, but at the same time she was going to be spending her wedding night with Jared. It scared her a little considering that she had never done this before. The butterflies that had been avoided all day were finally starting to settle into her stomach, as she walked into the hotel. The bellboy was so sweet whenever he took their bags, and Jared well he was a story in his own. He was the dorky man that she always knew, and this was one of the many reasons that she loved him. He picked her up and carried her over the threshold of the room. A beautiful room that she had no idea that Kaler would have put them up in.
As soon as she was safely in the room, Jared immediately set her down and was taking off to the huge windows. Miranda should have expected nothing less from her husband. He was still her big kid that she fell head over heels in love with. She loved that he was this easily amused, and she moved across the living area to follow him to the windows. They reached from the floor to the ceiling and she was completely amazed as the lights of the town amazed her. It was beautiful and Kaler completely out did himself, but before she could even look at Jared he was off looking at something else. She turned whenever she heard her name again, as if their alcohol spree at the reception was not enough there was coconut rum for jared to pretend that he was Captain Jack before they even left Maine. “Do you really think we need any more alcohol right now Jared?” She smiled lightly and crossed to where her husband was standing smiling at her with sheer excitement. She wrapped her hands around his neck and kissed him gently. “Thank you for the perfect day Husband of mine. I love you so much, and now we are going to the Caribbean. Who would have imagined that one?” She pressed her lips gently to his again, and the butterflies came into her stomach refusing to let her go. “Jared, I am still really nervous about this. So be gentle with me.”

There was probably a lot of room for speculation as to whether or not Jared and Randi were ready for this kind of step in their lives, this kind of commitment. After all, they were both just big kids at heart that didn’t seem to take things seriously, or seemed like they had never really grown up. But, those that knew them knew that they were grown up; they just didn’t choose to act like it all the time, and if there were ever two people in this world that were ready to get married and start their life together, it was Jared and Randi. However, Jared running around this awesome honeymoon suite like a kid hyped up on sugar and thrown into yet another candy store was not going to prove any of those points, but that was Jared. His life was a lived on a natural high, and he was absolutely buzzing with all the joy and happiness from his wedding day. There might have also been a good many shots and other alcoholic beverages attributing to that high, but that wasn’t really the point. The point was that he still couldn’t believe that they were really here, married and about to celebrate their marriage with a trip to the Caribbean provided by their dear friend Kaler Scott. And they had even provided coconut flavored rum, which was Jared’s favorite thing of all to drink. Liquor that was able to be drank without a chaser? Yes, please. Kaler might have made a mess of things and had been towed away from the wedding reception in the back of a police cruiser, but he had at least gotten them their gift and instructions on when and where they had to be before that.
Jared twisted the cap off the bottle and took a swig, loving the taste and thinking of going for another before he heard his lovely new wife’s comment on whether or not they needed more alcohol after the party that had been their wedding reception. Jared contemplated that one for a moment. He was still highly functional, not wasted off of his ass. And if he wasn’t drooling, he wasn’t drunk so… no, he wasn’t drunk. But Randi had a point, and he sighed as he set the bottle back down on the counter and turned to face her with a grin on his lips. Her arms wrapped around his neck, and Jared let his arms wrap around her tiny waist and pull her in right there against him where she seemed to fit so perfectly. She thanked him for their perfect day, but she was really the one that deserved all the thanks in the world. Randi had been the mastermind and the main reason for the occasion. Jared had just showed up and done his part of it, but he would take some credit for it, he guessed. The fact that they were going to spend two weeks in the Caribbean was still just way over Jared’s head, something that he couldn’t quite believe but at the same time was so super excited for, kind of like he imagined kids would feel if they woke up one morning and their parents told them that they were going to Disney Land. They kissed for a second time, but when Randi pulled away Jared could tell that there was something on her mind, and the moment that she told him, the softest of smiles came to Jared’s lips.
“Why are you so nervous, pretty girl?” he asked, his tone soft and sweet, just for her before he captured her lips with his in a kiss that was much more passionate than the ones before. Jared of course knew why she was nervous; his wife was still a virgin, and she had been more nervous about their wedding night than she had been about anything else. It made sense, and Jared was sure to take good care of this girl that he loved so much. His lips moved from her lips and down along her jaw to her ear, where he whispered a sweet “I love you” before kissing her neck, letting his hands roam over the curvatures of her body, wanting her mind on him and trying to make her forget those fears and insecurities. He would take things slowly, as slowly as she wanted. Hell, if Randi didn’t want this right now, Jared would wait. He loved her, and he would take things at her pace. They did eventually find the bedroom of the massive suite (not without opening a few wrong doors and getting a laugh out of it first, though), and that was where Jared pulled back, his light colored eyes staring down into her dark ones as his fingers found the hem of her shirt and started to gently lift the fabric up over her skin. Jared could see her nervousness return, at which he only grinned that heart stopping Trent grin. “Trust me, Randi,” he said to her, still in that tone he used only for her. That was the key, here. If she could trust him, and trust herself, she would realize that there was nothing to be nervous about at all.

She was on an absolute high realizing that she was Mrs. Jared Trent, something she had never imagined would happen. What chance had she had to gain his heart and make him her own? She was three years younger than him, and she was still the most perfect person for him. They were children that were trapped in adult bodies, and she was also taking classes and trying to put herself through college. It was something that she had been doing for two years, but it had taken her own special skills to balance her college classes, the wedding planning, and Jared. He was a handful in himself, and she watched him with a big smile on her lips. He was absolutely hilarious as he started to drink the coconut rum that was before him. She was just teasing him about drinking, because she knew he was no where near drunk. Jared was one of those people that could handle any liquor thrown at him, and unless he was on the floor he was good. The thought going through Randi’s mind was that she really did not want her first time to happen whenever they were both trashed. She had been saving this and waiting to make it special, and yet here she was standing in her orange sweats and slouchy sweatshirt admiring the life that she was about to begin with Jared. It was everything that she had hoped and dreamed of, and he set the bottle down after a swig.
Her arms wrapped around his neck instinctively, and she could see that grin. Jared had been grinning all day, they both had. It was a day that they both had waited for, and now she was just happy to be in his company and know that she was his for the rest of her life. She knew that this was exactly where she was supposed to be. His arms had wrapped around her, and then her body was flush against his. These were moments that made her nervous, but at the same time she was excited. She had waited for the right man, and she knew that it was always Jared. So as nervous as she was about this she was excited. She was starting to realize that these butterflies were not completely out of nerves, which was making this night a little easier. She kissed him, but she knew that Jared would take care of her. So even though she voiced her opinion about nervous, she knew there was no reason for her to be. Kaler had told her to just trust Jared and let him lead her in the right direction. Randi’s hair was out of her simple up-do and falling on her shoulders. If she had not had her hands wrapped around her husband’s neck she would be twisting her fingers in her hair refusing to look up at him, but they weren’t and her eyes met his.
She knew that as soon as her eyes caught his and that he spoke that was the end of it. His lips caught hers with a bit more fire behind it; Jared knew exactly why she was nervous. She was terrified, nervous, and excited about this. When this night had crept on her she had not expected to be excited about. She felt his lips against her jaw and near her ear. She felt her body pull closer to him wanting nothing more than to have his lips against hers. She let her fingers find his hair, and his whisper made her love him even more. The more he kissed her, it made her completely unaware of her fear and butterflies and the burning desire to have him. His hands roamed her body and it was a whole new feeling that she had never experienced before. His touch was electric, that was whenever the newlyweds started the search for the bedroom in their suite. Sure there were a few roadblocks and wrong doors along the way, but they got there. Inside their bedroom, she felt his lips pull away from hers and his eyes connected with hers. His light eyes were able to express everything that their voices did not want to, and she knew that if she stopped him that he would. That was the Randi that he was used to, the one that would stop him as soon as she felt uncomfortable. Instead she let his fingers find the hem of her sweatshirt and soon it was up over her head and on the floor. That was when nervous Randi returned and she pulled away slightly, only to let her eyes find his again and was greeted with that heart stopping smile of his. Trust me Randi were the simple words that he spoke, and although the butterflies were still there, she let her lips find his. She was not going to be nervous, she was going to trust him and let him show her how this was done. She pulled away slightly just to pull his shirt up over his head. Her hands roamed his skin and she looked up at him from under her eyelashes. “Now what?” She spoke softly and waited for him to show her.

It was amazing to Jared that they were finally here. He had loved and admired Randi for so long, but he hadn’t truly understood the depth of that love and admiration until recently, a switch being flipped in his head that told him to wake the hell up before this amazing girl gave up on him and found someone else. Jared had reacted, and now about a month later he was married to Randi, kissing her in a way that he had known better than to even attempt kissing her before. Jared and Randi had always been best friends, since the moment that he had laid eyes on her in high school. He had no secrets when it came to this young woman, and he knew her just as well. He knew that she had certain beliefs when it came to sex and when it should happen, who it should happen with. Jared himself had never had had his own ideas about it, but his moral code had never been as strict or as certain as Randi’s had, him losing his virginity as a sophomore to his very first serious girlfriend. Randi knew that, and she knew all about Jared’s history in that department whether she had wanted to know it or not. Jared was a very open kind of guy, not one to deny what was true and not really one for secrets with anyone, but especially not Randi who had meant too much to him to ever keep things from her. They had a deeper understanding than that, and Jared knew every thought that was going through Randi’s pretty little head as they started on this next part of their adventure that was their wedding night, sharing in the most intimate thing two people could share and for her, for the first time with anyone.
That’s what made her so nervous, along with the idea in the back of her mind that Jared had had sex before while she had not. Jared understood without a word, but wished that she wouldn’t be nervous. For the life of him, he couldn’t remember feeling that way when it had been his first time, but then again Jared wasn’t normal when it came to his sense of nerves. As in, the boy didn’t seem to get nervous no matter what it was he was doing. He could stand in front of a large group of people and do whatever the hell he wanted, make an ass of himself or deliver some kind of message and not lose one ounce of sleep in anticipation or a drop of sweat as he prepared for it. He didn’t know what these butterflies were that people got in their stomachs, and he really didn’t know what anxiety was. That was Jared, though, and he knew better than to expect that from Randi who was clearly nervous but excited at the idea of what they were about to share in. But, she had let him take off her sweatshirt, it hitting the floor and already forgotten. That’s when he had said for her trust him, and she seemed to be able to do that as her lips found his again. Jared was surprised to feel her pulling at his shirt, but that same grin stayed on his lips as his shirt was removed as well, and his eyes watched as her hands moved over his chest, a sensation that he had never felt before but was already loving the feel of. “Now what?” Jared really wasn’t used to taking the complete lead in situations like these, and he couldn’t help but to chuckle before cupping her face in his hand and kissing her once again.
From there, things moved on slowly, but in the sweetest, most sensual of ways. There was a part of Jared that was accustomed to the rushed shedding of clothing, the pure urgency and lust of the situation at hand and all of that overcoming himself and the woman he had been with and taking over. However, tonight was not about that; tonight was about them figuring this out with each other. They were laying back on the bed soon enough, Jared pulling Randi’s sweat pants off and him kicking out of his jeans. Jared had seen as much of Randi in bathing suits before, but this was the first time that he had ever been so close and allowed to appreciate her body in the way it truly deserved. He covered her body in kisses, let his hands explore and let her do the same. After that the remaining layers of clothing were removed, and Jared took special care to make sure that Randi was comfortable before he made that final advance, and then he was so caught up in her and this pure, indescribable feeling of being with her. It was his opinion that the wait had been well worth it, that night being so incredible and special that he truly could not find the words. Afterward he lay there with Randi cuddled up in his arms, loving the way her skin felt against his. She was silent now, and Jared turned his head to look down into her gorgeous face as his hand ran soothingly down her side. “You okay?” he asked quietly, it seeming almost wrong to speak loudly in the otherwise silent room. Jared wanted to know what she was thinking, and was hoping that this had been what she had wanted it to be.

this post is tagged for jared mitchell trent. it is dunzo and has nine hundred and thirty words. the one and only jay sean contributed to this inspiration from the song lights out . randi is looking amazing in some sweats and such this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes he is too sweet <3 ______________________ Miranda Trent had managed to keep herself and follow values that she had taught herself. Her mother and father had not been anything worth looking up to, but one thing that her mother told her was that making love was something special, something to be taken serious. From that conversation she had decided that it was not going to be her that was sleeping around with anyone and anything that came her way. She had managed to make it through the streets of Philadelphia until she was fourteen years old, without having any incidents, unlike some of her friends. Moving to Arietta, the people that were important to her respected the decision that she had made for herself. Nathan had never pressured her to do anything that she would have been uncomfortable, and her husband had been a marvelous boyfriend and fiancee. He never pressured her, and he never kissed her with the passion that their kisses were not laced with. Jared had respected her enough to know that this was important to her, and she thanked him each and every day for that. The brunette knew that he had shared a bed with other women, and there was absolutely nothing that she could do to change that. It just made her nervous to know that he had people to compare her to. Other girls that Miranda knew that she more than likely would not measure up to, that is what made her nervous. Kaler had made a very valid point in that she had something that those other women did not have; she had Jared’s love and knowing that she was his forever. That was what made this so much easier for her.
Jared knew her like the back of his hand, and he could read the expressions on her face. He knew how her stomach tossed and turned in nervous anticipation. She tried not to worry her pretty little head like people told her, but in the same time this was Randi. She was the worrier, and she knew that if she didn’t sometimes then no one would. Especially her new husband, he never worried about anything. It was easy for him, and she stood there trying to calm herself down. She let him take off her sweatshirt, and that had been a big step for her. Never had her clothing shed from her body, and she was nervous about it. She trusted him more than he could or would ever possibly know, because even back in high school she had trusted him. Miranda knew that if she would be safe with any one person it was Jared Trent, and the fourteen year old girl knew that. So she looked at him with her dark eyes, conveying that she absolutely trusted him. That is what gave her the strength to pull his shirt up over his head, and as her fingers caressed his skin she knew that she had nothing to worry about. The electricity that burned through her fingers felt natural, and it was a sensation that she had never felt before. She looked at him questioning him what to do, because she was lost. This was new territory, and she was going to have to learn what she was doing. The best part of this scenario was learning with Jared, and never having to learn anything other than how to please her husband ever again.
His hands cupped her face, and she realized even more in that moment that she absolutely loved him more than she knew herself. Jared took things slow with her, letting things build and not rushing her at all. Randi was innocent, but she had listened to the stories of the need, want, and urgency to rush sex. The thing with her was this was not just sex; it was her making love to her husband in the most special of ways that she could. She was laying on the bed, and soon her sweats were coming off and so were Jared’s jeans. It made her smile how he was kicking out of his jeans, but it was cute. Her husband was absolutely the sweetest thing in the world, and she was wonderfully blessed to have him in her life. They lay there lost in kisses, and this was as far as each other had seen them. Bathing suites had been the farthest, and tonight he was going to have her in the most intimate ways possible. He took his time working her up to what was happening, and she was not terrified anymore. She was excited and wanted her husband to take her. This night had been more than she had ever expected and was thankful that she had waited. Jared made everything absolutely perfect, and her mind was racing a mile a minute. She had curled her body up next to him, and laid her head against his chest. She had not realized that she was completely silent until she felt his eyes over her, and then felt his hand against her skin again. She brought her eyes up to meet his and smiled softly. “Yeah, I’m fine. I love you Jared.” she said barely above a whisper. She was not sure if he would even hear her, but she did. She loved the man that was snuggled up against her more than words could ever express. This night had been absolutely perfect. It was better than she had ever expected, and was truly thankful that she had a wonderful husband who had waited on her.

Jared didn’t know how he was ever going to be any happier than he was right in that moment. He had Randi, and he had her for life. They had just celebrated that love and commitment with the most intimate thing two people could share, and all of a sudden it made sense as to why people waited. Jared didn’t regret his previous decisions, but he knew that this would have been all the more special had he waited for the right woman, that woman being Randi. However, he had to admit that his experience was what had calmed the nerves and made this flow so much more smoothly than if they would have both been bumbling and bumping around, having not a clue as to how this was really supposed to go other than what they had seen in movies or read in the trashy novels. Their wedding night had been absolutely perfect in Jared’s mind, and when he heard Randi speak, he knew that she was feeling the same way. His lips twitched upwards in a grin as he leaned down and pressed a sweet kiss to the top of her head, his arms pulling her in closer as they snuggled down in to the plush pillows of the oversized bed. This was the perfect end to a perfect day, and things were only going to get better from here.
The next day included a lot of traveling, from the hotel to the airport, and then on the actual airplane. Jared had never flown anywhere before in his life, so it was a rather exciting experience. Of course he didn’t have the mind about him to be afraid, but was all over the place with excitement and wonder as the plane lifted off and they were on their way to their own little piece of tropical paradise. Of course Randi had the window seat, and Jared was practically in her lap the entire time as they were flying high, looking out over the world before with pure amazement. It was also pretty amazing that a young man of his age would act like this, but this was Jared and the flight attendants seemed to really get a kick out of him every time they came around. In fact, he was very sure that one of them was flirting with him at some point, his ways obviously endearing in her eyes and Jared beamed rather proudly as he explained that he and Randi were on their honeymoon. The girl might have been let down, but Jared didn’t care. All he cared about was that he was on this amazing adventure with Randi, and he was damn proud of the fact that she was his and he was hers.
As it turned out, Kaler Scott didn’t do anything half assed. Jared had been expecting to be put up in some hotel somewhere, but Kaler had gone above and beyond that and somehow found a little village-esque place for them to stay where they were given a house similar to their suite in Portland, but their backyard was their own private stretch of beach and water so clear that it was impossible not to gaze at. It was beautiful, and Jared and Randi had a great time exploring it and their surroundings that they would become a part of over the next two weeks. You know, if Jared could ever pry himself and his new bride out of the bedroom. That part of their relationship had grown beautifully, the awkwardness and nervousness gone them behaving like a couple of love sick teenagers that others would look at and think, “get a room already.” But what the hell, it was their honeymoon! This was exactly how they were supposed to be acting, but that afternoon Jared was acting like Captain Jack Sparrow, sitting out in the sun on a beach towel with a bottle of his coconut rum in one hand, his eyes shielded by sunglasses and gazing out over the ocean. He didn’t think that he had ever seen anything quite as beautiful as this, except for maybe the young woman that happened to be sneaking up behind him.

this post is tagged for jared mitchell trent. it is dunzo and has nine hundred and eighty two words. the one and only jay sean contributed to this inspiration from the song lights out . randi is looking amazing in some sweats and such this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes he is too sweet <3 ______________________ This night had been perfect; everything about it was more magical than the brunette could ever have imagined. Randi had been nervous over nothing, because she knew that her husband was going to take care of her. Yes, he had the experience that made this a little bit easier, and in the same token she was kind of glad. Miranda hated that he had slept with other woman and could compare her to them, but she also knew that after sharing that special moment with him that she was all that was on his mind. He was in love with her, and she was in love with him. There was no one that could compare to what they had, and she knew that. It was perfect, and she could not have expected it to work any better than it had. Kaler had told her not to worry because the man that now had his arms completely wrapped around her only had eyes for her. He had asked her if she was okay, and she was better than okay. He had made her a woman, and now he was checking on his pretty girl. She smiled and spoke softly snuggling her body even closer to him. His lips against her hair and his strong arms pulling her in closer made her even more comfortable with who she was. Sex was something that the brunette would enjoy, and she knew that. She let her body get as close to Jared’s as humanly possible and let her head fall deep into the pillows to sleep. This was the perfect ending to a perfect day, and she was dreaming the sweet dreams of being married.
The following day was just busy; they had to get up, get dressed, move from hotel to airport and catch their flight. It had been busy, but that was why she had worn the sweats instead of jeans. They were easy to pull on and off and just comfortable. Randi had been in an airplane once, and it was flying from Philly to Arietta when she was fourteen. The twenty year old had never had the opportunity to sit next to the window, and at first she did not want to. Randi was terrified of heights, almost as terrified as she had been to be deflowered the previous night. Today and this whole trip was going to be about taking risks and finding out about herself as a married woman. Not as little scared Randi that she had always been, and this was going to change. She wanted to be a bit adventurous for her husband. So she took her seat and opened the sliding window drape to see out of the window, her husband bouncing around next to her giddy with excitement. She knew he had never been on a plane and was just going nuts over everything. They took off and watching the clouds were something that amazed both of them; the flight attendants got a good giggle out of the two of them, but there was one in particular that got under Randi’s skin. There was a blonde girl running around obviously flirting with her husband, and the blushing bride kept her mouth shut and just glared at her. That was until her husband finally realized that he was being flirted with. The smug smile that graced her lips was enough to make sure that blonde didn’t come around again. “She had been flirting with you the entire time Husband. She thought you were a stud muffin, but you did good.” She laughed and laid her head against his shoulder for the rest of the flight.
Arriving in paradise had been something that took her breath away. This was beautiful and Kaler had truly out done himself with this gift. Their hotel was wonderful, and they even had their own little piece of the beach that was going to be their home for the next two weeks. She was going to have fun exploring with her husband, but she had a few other places that she would rather be. To say that the little virgin girl had become a bit of a nympho was an understatement. It was basically on her brain the entire time, and it was hard to pry the happy couple from their bedroom. Miranda was hardly the timid little thing she had been their first night, and it was kind of funny to see that switch flip.
She had never expected this out of her, but now she was thinking about it as she dressed in her bathing suit. Her husband was doing one of he many things that she knew he would do during their vacation, and that was impersonating Captain Jack. She looked out the back door to see where he was exactly as she placed her aviators over her eyes and started on the sneaking process. The sand was nice against her toes, and that was why she had been able to sneak up on her husband as he sat there on the towel drinking coconut rum like he always did. She gently pushed him whenever she was within arms reach and fell down next to him laughing. “Surprise! Did you miss me Husband?” She laughed lightly and smiled brightly as she took the bottle of rum off of him and took a long swig of the liquor. She spun herself around and faced the ocean that was in front of her and was amazed by the sheer beauty of this. “Kaler, really out did himself with this. Have I told you that I love you today? And how absolutely incredible you are, and even though you kill me with Captain Jack quotes that I will love you forever and always? Because if I didn’t then I probably should.”

Maine had beaches and an ocean too. Jared had grown up along the shore, running down along the beach with sand and rock between his twos, diving into the waves and learning how to maneuver boats over top of them. Jared wouldn’t exactly say that he was a qualified beach bum like the likes that you see in Florida or California, but he had logged a lot of hours down by the water, and it was truly one of his favorite places to be in the entire world. The ocean seemed to challenge the mind, encourage imagination, and present a calm, soothing presence that really couldn’t be compared to anything else. Looking out over the water now, Jared’s mind was really a thousand miles away, wondering at the sight that he was seeing and finding peace in it. It really was gorgeous, the kind of place that he had only ever dreamed of being able to visit. He knew that he had made friends with Kaler for a reason, and this was well worth all the bullshit that people had to dig through to be able to find the good man at Kaler’s core. This place right there was damn near perfect, what Jared imagined paradise to be like, and he couldn’t believe that he was getting to experience and share it all with the one person in life that mean the most to him.
Jared thought that he had heard sand shifting behind him, but he simply took another swig of his rum, looking out over that horizon and grinning to himself as scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean popped into his head. If only he had had the mind to pack the DVDs. Randi probably would have kicked him out by now, though, making him sleep in their hammock that hung between two perfect palm trees. The only thing that he really would have minded about that would be that she wouldn’t be there with him, and he was already entirely too used to sharing a bed with her. Jared was happy in his own little mind when he suddenly felt hands against him, giving him a gently shove but scaring him nonetheless. He jumped slightly, turning around to look even though he already knew who it was. Randi, of course, and she was already laughing, just as Jared was. “Well of course I missed you. I always miss you.” Jared spoke with a grin, watching as she took the bottle of rum from his hands and knocked a good drink of it back. Jared didn’t even know how many bottles of that they had gone through already, but it was definitely his new favorite drink after this trip. He listened to what she said next, a smile coming to play on his lips as he took the bottle back, but sat it down in the nice little cup holder he had had welded out of the sand. Then he came back and wrapped his arms around Randi, his chin on her shoulder as they looked out over the ocean. “I think you might have said something along those lines earlier,” he said, all playful as he remembered their earlier, which had been them holed up in the bedroom once again. “But I don’t think I’m ever going to get tired of hearing it, and I know I never get tired of telling you how much I love you, and how happy I am.” Because really, they could be anywhere in the world right now and Jared would be just as happy as he was right now. The sun and the beach and the tanning were all just added bonuses. “Savvy?” he added with a chuckle, kissing her shoulder.

She had grown up in Philadelphia, but her mother had taken her to Ocean City, Maryland ever since she could remember. It was the one place she could forget about the abuse that she put up with every single day. When she was there, it was like all the pain of her life was being washed away from her and changed. She was new, and she was even more thankful that her life had lead her to Arietta. The place that had a beach and the ocean around her. Jared and Randi had logged a lot of hours down on the shore growing up, especially whenever she was sad. It was the only place she felt like she was herself whenever she moved there. But the beaches back home were different than the one she was sitting on now. The water here was clear and brilliant; something that she had not seen ever. It was also a sight to take in with her husband sitting there on a beach with rum in his hand pretending to be a fictional captain of a boat that never existed. She always got a chuckle out of the fact that he loved that movie so much. He had drug her to the premier of those movies, and with the upcoming movie she was never going to get any rest from the Captain Jack that was going to be her husband in anticipation.
She knew that she was not going to able to surprise him whenever she initially set foot on the sand. She had loved watching him enjoying everything that was their honeymoon. They had gotten a very good routine going on lately, and she knew that it was a side of herself that no one would expect from her. She also knew that she enjoyed that intimacy that she had waited for years to share with him. So she stared at him, and thought about how even though he may get completely annoying with all his movie quotes that she had to remember that at all times. There had been moments that she had already threatened to throw him out and sleep in that hammock that was between the palm trees, but she wouldn’t. Randi would miss the feel of his body against hers, the soft touches whenever he would wake her up in the morning, and just the little things. As these thoughts had played through her brain she had shoved him and fell beside him laughing waiting for him to say how much he missed her. She smiled brightly at him when he spoke. “Awe, you always miss me? Really, even if it is just for me to change into my cute little sundress and bathing suit?” She knew she was being silly, because she missed him even whenever he was away for a few minutes. She had been perfectly content trying to read in her massive bed that afternoon, but she had missed him. She looked out over the ocean and was thankful that for once her life was easy and uncomplicated. Miranda Trent was married to a good man who loved her more than words could ever express and that was when his arms wrapped around her. All she wanted was to be like this forever, and she leaned her head back against him as he spoke. Jared always knew how to make her smile, and that was how she felt. Her entire body was full of smiles as she was wrapped in the only place that was safe and secure in her life. “Oh is that so?” Her smile slide into a bright place on her lips as he spoke again. These were reasons that she adored him, “In that case, I am happy to tell you all the time that I am absolutely head over heels in love with you Jared Trent. You are my world, and I never get tired of hearing how much you love me either. Just so you know.” She glanced her shoulders whenever she had finished and then he had to bust out Jack Sparrow. She smirked, and nudged him with her shoulder as he kissed it. “You will be sleeping on that hammock if you don’t stop with the Captain Jack references. But if I have to kick you out I will be very upset because I am getting very used to sleeping next to you. And having you around.” She turned slightly so she could see his face, and placed a few kisses on his lips before moving her kisses down his cheekbone and to his neck. To say that Randi had become a nympho was an understatement.

“Awe, you always miss me?” Jared’s eyes narrowed ever so slightly in the most playful of ways as she spoke. They were both just being silly now, Randi knowing very well how Jared felt about her and how her absence had always managed to have an effect on him even when they hadn’t technically been together. Just as friends, he hadn’t liked spending long periods of time away from her, Jared growing restless and never seeming to know what to do with himself when his little shadow wasn’t around. That was just how much a part of him she had become over the years, and he was always going to want her near. “Well, yeah,” he told her, as if it were truly the most obvious thing on earth which it very well could be. “I always miss my pretty girl. That’s just how it is, lady.” Then he winked at her, both of them grinning at their little joke that probably wouldn’t seem as cute or funny to anyone else but them. But, once again, they were on their honeymoon and they were allowed to act goofy here and there, especially about each other. Even though their love for each other wasn’t new, their status as husband and wife was and this was them enjoying it in all its newness.
The two of them were so freaking happy and in love that Jared was sure that onlookers would be sickened by it. It really was amazing how much one person could come to mean to you, and how easily one person could become your entire world. That was what Randi was for Jared now, that one woman that he knew that he wanted to spend forever with. He couldn’t imagine being any happier than he was right now, holding her in his arms like this and looking out over such a beautiful setting, this world that seemed so far away from everything else. But, the sweetness of the moment was slightly squandered with Jared’s insertion of a Captain Jack word, and he felt Randi’s playful nudge with her shoulder, listening as she threatened to make him sleep outside in the hammock. He still thought that he could totally do it, and be perfectly content out there, listening to the water and feeling the warmth of this tropical climate, looking up at the stars all night long. The only thing would be that he would want Randi there with him, and that would kind of defeat the purpose of her kicking him out if she were out there with him. So, really, Jared wasn’t all that worried about it. A grin was on his lips as she turned around and kissed him, letting her lips trail along, reaching his neck. “Damn it, woman,” he said to her with a chuckle as he let them lay back and him moving over top of her and letting his lips connect with hers. To say that they could both be poster children for sex addiction right now might be going a little too far, but it was damn near close as she barely had to do a thing to arouse him, but it wasn’t like he hadn’t always wanted Randi before. One hand went through her hair, the other feeling up her side, pushing up that little sundress and him loving her skin beneath his palm.
