i've been playing with you like a little toy yeah i got you ,
Amy said goodbye to Zoey and ran out into the rain, racing to her car parked in the driveway. She was so grateful now that she had decided to drive to her best friend’s house instead of walking. It was like on some level she had known that it was going to decide to rain today and she had prepared for it. When Amy got to her car she was just about soaked, but she soon had it started and the heater running to warm herself up. The only reason she had ventured out today was because she and Zoey had needed to finish their project for science. They had been putting it off for weeks, the two girls getting together often with the intent of getting something done, but never actually doing anything. Mostly because they would always find something better and much more fun to do. Zoey Williams was Amy Orsino’s closest friend. The girls had known each other for a long time, and they were so similar that it was crazy. Zoey was like the twin that Amy had never gotten to have. They were as close as two people could be, and nothing went on in Amy’s life that Zoey didn’t know about. But the girls had always been like that, sharing every secret and leaving no details out. Amy knew she could always depend on Zoey, and Amy was always there for her when she was needed. They were the town mischief makers, causing trouble just about everywhere they went, and it being quite dangerous for those around them if they happened to get bored. They drove her brothers crazy and just about everyone else too. Zoey was her partner in crime, her sister in all the ways that counted, and Amy was pretty sure she would have been lost without the girl by her side. Life would be so very dull if she weren’t.
Amy waved goodbye to Zoey, then pulled out of the driveway and onto the road, heading for home. The Trent Bed and Breakfast. Amy still didn’t know what had processed her parents to start the B & B. It was like they had gotten most of the kids out of the house, decided they were lonely, and decided to open up a place for all the tourists and guests that traveled to and through Arietta. It was insane, but Amy couldn’t say she totally hated it. It was weird having a bunch of guests traveling through her home, but Amy being the mischievous little prankster she was had a lot of funny with such things. It was actually a miracle that her parents had a business left when she got done with them. Because Amy was pretty good with pranks, and she knew that she had scared a couple of the guests away, though she wasn’t totally sure that her mother had yet to realize that she was the cause for it. She was hurrying home now, though, because of a certain friend who had a habit of stopping by. While Zoey had been on the phone, gossiping with one of her many friends, Amy had stolen the computer and happened into a conversation with him. Aiden Daniels was a guy that she had known for a long time. He lived just down the street and the two had struck up a friendship for themselves. The boy drove Amy absolutely crazy. To the point where sometimes she wanted to push him out of her second story window most days. He could be infuriating, but at the same time he kept Amy on her toes, and there was a human side to him that she was lucky to see at times. Like when she was eight and had just lost her entire family in a house fire. She still thought about that sometimes, and she missed them all like crazy. She was just lucky that she had had the Trents to take her in and to make her a part of their crazy little family. Not many people would have taken in a kid in her position, and she was ever thankful to have them.
Without the great friends she had, too, Amy doubted that she would have fared from that as well as she did. Everyone had been so great, and though she never talked about it, what they had all done for her had meant everything. To look at her now, it would have been hard to believe that ten years ago she had suffered something so traumatic. But really, it made a lot of sense. Amy was a girl who lived life to the fullest, because she knew just how short life could be. She did what she wanted to, went after the things wanted, and she held nothing back. When Amy Orsino made her mind up about something, she stuck with it, going after the experiences that made life worth living and never once regretting anything she did. She was no angel, for sure, looking far more innocent than she really was. She was crazy and she was fun, and she had insanity like no other. But it just made her all the more loveable. Despite her insanity, though, Amy was probably the best friend that anyone could hope for. She was dependable and trustworthy, and her stubbornness made her the type to stand by someone even when they were a pain. Aiden was lucky to have her. Which was why she had hurried home after finishing her project with Zoey instead of hanging around and causing trouble. Things weren’t good at home for Aiden, Amy knew, and she knew that she couldn’t do anything about that. The best she could do was sneak him in her window when he wanted to get away from home for a while. Other than that, she had no clue.
Before long Amy was pulling into the driveway of the Trent Bed & Breakfast. She parked in her usual spot, turning the car off and then making a run for the front door. She announced her presence, finding her mother, Marion Trent, in the kitchen. She exchanged small talk with her, telling her how her and Zoey’s project had turned out and what all they had accomplished. She swiped two mugs of hot chocolate from the counter and a couple of her mother’s chocolate muffins that had just come out of the oven. She informed Marion that she was going up to her room, then left, carrying her spoils with her. Marion wouldn’t find it the least bit strange that Amy had just swiped a bunch of food and hot chocolate from the kitchen. The eighteen year old girl could eat a lot, sometimes as much as her older brothers, and it was just something that wouldn’t need much attention paid to it. In truth, half of what she had grabbed was for Aiden, as she knew he was currently up in her room and was thinking he’d probably enjoy something of the sort. She pushed her bedroom door open, her eyes immediately finding him as he was quite a large male and was hard to miss. “Hey, I brought you some hot chocolate and a muffin. Enjoy.” She handed them to him, closing the door behind her and then sitting her own chocolate and muffin on her desk. “Did you find any clothes,” she asked as she moved to her closet to find something to change into herself as she was wet from being out in the rain. She located a pair of gray sweatpants and a t-shirt, quickly undressing and changing in them, not even thinking anything of it that there was a man in the room with her. Modest Amy was not, and she honestly didn’t care. It wasn’t like he had never seen so much before anyway. In the summer she wore bikinis to the beach and around the pool. In her mind, this was really no different than that. “Did you decide what you’re going to do?” she asked as she walked back over to her desk and retrieved her hot chocolate and muffin then sat herself on the bed beside him, her dark eyes looking at him for an answer. He had been talking about running away before, and she honestly didn’t know if he had actually been serious about that or not. She knew that she didn’t want him to be, though. He was her friend, and though she wouldn’t admit it, she did enjoy having him around, and really couldn’t imagine not being there. She didn’t even want to think about it.

So, Aiden and Amy weren't the best of friends, well they were but they had their share of fights. They had pretty much the same personality, that was probably the problem to start out with. Right when they met they conflicted, but Aiden guessed that's what attracted them together. After a while, he started to trust her, she started to become the only person he saw himself trusting, slowly she became someone he protected. He'd admit, he was physically attracted to her, she was hot so of course he was. He was a male after all, but he wasn't looking for sex from her, just a shoulder to lean on really. They butted heads so much that he could never really picture them being together, it just wouldn't work out and he knew that much. He took a big brother role with her for a while, kept most guys off of her, but now there was just nothing he could do. She was a big girl and he had to respect that, he couldn't keep protecting her and pretending like everything was going to be okay. Things were getting rough at home, and no matter how much Amy helped him out it was never enough, he still wasn't away from all this crap. He needed to get out of this small town, and he wanted to take Amy with him, but she was never going to agree. He left the subject alone, and just now brought it up again, because the beatings were starting to ruin him internally.
He was thinking about getting his own apartment, a small one, but he found one in town, cheap price since it looked like a shit hole. It was better than staying at home, his next chance to run he was taking it, and it seemed like now was that chance. He had been sneaking to Amy's too much, sneaking to even Zoey's when he had the chance to. The two harbored him, but he knew he was getting on Amy's last nerves, and it was about time he stepped out of her life, if he was only causing her grief. Aiden made a bit of a mistake though, told Amy that he was beginning to like her, and in the middle of one of their spats too. It was the wrong thing to say, he should of kept that information to himself, but stupid him just let his hands do the talking. He was lucky enough to not be in public, or he would of kissed her to make her stop talking. Those images ran through his mind, he didn't need that right now, these emotions were scaring him enough. She had different interests, she used him only for his looks really, but they never got passed disagreeing. There was never a first kiss, there was never anything, not even fleeting touches. When he hugged her, which was really rare, it was just a hug between friends. Hands never wandered, though maybe he should start stepping it up just a bit.
That was just out of the question though, there was no way he was going to make the moves on her. It would just end up awkward and he would lose a friend, she liked her men a lot different than he was. Ugly, and well ugly, that's all he's seen Amy with truthfully. But, he got himself mixed with her already, and this whole stripping deal was starting to make him realize he was getting himself into deeper trouble now. She had never seen him fully naked, just with his shirt off in boxers, but never the whole prize. He had no reason to be embarrassed, well Zoey had already seen that much, and one of the other females that were going to be there had a private show already. So, that left Amy, another female, and of course the bride, he was sure there were going to be others, but those were the ones he worried about. It made him laugh a bit, so he just put that to the back of his mind and climbed the tree towards Amy's window. He grumbled lightly, doing his best to pull open the window and gracefully enter the room. He did it without so much noise, knowing she couldn't be caught. He shifted his eyes around, turning on the lights in her room and grabbing a towel from the bathroom. Drying his hair first, he did his best to dry his clothes a bit, and took a seat on the bed, putting the towel down on it first.
Here he was, sitting in his best friends room, having not a clue what to do with himself and he had yet to even clean himself up. He was scared in a sense, it was hard to admit to himself that Aiden could really be scared, but he was. It was then that he heard the door open, which caused him to lift his head to view the female walking in. "Aw how sweet of you." He smiled, taking the two things from Amy's hands. Taking a sip of the hot cocoa, his eyes kept on her, watching her quickly change into fresh clothing. They did that often, change in front of one another but Aiden couldn't help the smirk that came to his face all the time. Amy was hot, everyone knew that, probably why she has so many guys all over her, and Aiden knew it very well. Placing the cup down on the side table near by, he stood up,nodding at her first question. "Yeah. You should really get a draw for my clothes." He nodded to the pile in the corner and walked over to it. He stripped of his shirt first, than his pants, pulling up the sweatpants that he had left here not long ago. He lifted a few shirts on the floor, before looking over at Amy. "These are yours." He said, tossing the shirts at her then rubbing the back of his head. It didn't embarrass him to be shirtless in front of her, he was quite comfortable actually, he didn't doubt his looks at all. "No... I really haven't, I am serious about wanting to run away, but I'm not doing it by myself." He sighed, before looking in the mirror at the scratches on his face, as well as the bruises that would be visible tomorrow. "I met your friend Brittany by the way, and your friend Zoey, they think I'm cute! And that you use me just for my looks." He smirked, knowing she had kept him away from those two girls for a while. They knew more about Amy than he did, and it was funny to learn all those secrets about her. He turned back around and flopped on the bed, placing his hands behind his head and closing his eyes. words: 1184 tag: luna as amy! <3 notes: Hope you enjoy!

i've been playing with you like a little toy yeah i got you ,
There were a lot of things Amy could say about her friend Aiden Daniels. He was an interesting guy for one thing, and something about him always seemed to keep Amy on her toes. She could definitely say there was never a dull moment when he was around and that she did enjoy it whenever he was with her. She couldn’t say what it was but things were different with him. A lot of it probably had to do with the fact that she had yet to sleep with him. It wasn’t like Amy was a whore or anything, but she did get around. She was the type that went after what she wanted, and if that happened to be sex, the she was going to get it. But there was something different about her relationship with Aiden. That wasn’t something that had ever entered into their relationship. Not that he wasn’t attractive or anything like that. Aiden was probably one of the most attractive men that Amy knew. He was sexy as hell and he knew it, and Amy wasn’t one who hadn’t noticed this. She was very aware of the fact that he was extremely good looking. And she couldn’t say that she hadn’t thought about such things before. She had, several times, actually. It was something she had never acted on, though, and she couldn’t really say why that was. She didn’t really think on it a lot, though. Amy wasn’t one to contemplate and stress over such things, though. If something like that was going to happen, it would happen. Amy herself was fine without it, not one who had to have a guy in her life all the time. True she had recently found herself sharing the bed of one Kaler Scott, but that wasn’t something that was likely to take place for a long period of time.
Something else that made them different was that they didn’t always get along. They often times butted heads and fought for no reason at all. At the end of the day, though, no matter how frustrated or annoyed she got with him they always ended up on good terms in the end, making up and being fine once again. It was kind of twisted, but it worked for them. Amy enjoyed that he challenged her like that. She was a complicated girl, and she didn’t really enjoy it when things were easy all the time. Sometimes, but not all the time. Challenges made life fun and exciting and Amy knew about such things very well as she lived for them. "Yeah. You should really get a drawer for my clothes." Amy just rolled her eyes and picked at her muffin. Marion Trent was probably one of the best cooks in Arietta, the neighborhood kids always stopping in for some of her famous hot chocolate and whatever else might have been fixed that day. Amy and her siblings had often tried to duplicate Marion’s recipes, following everything exactly and for some reason their creations never seemed to come out as good. Marion had to do something special, adding something or doing something different that made them so good. Whatever it was she did, though, it was her own special little touch, and it made everything she made absolutely amazing. Amy would sure like the know what it was that she did, though.
"These are yours." Amy just happened to look up in time to see a couple shirts being thrown in her direction. She moved out of the way, the shirts hitting the wall behind her and falling to the floor. She glanced down at them, shrugged, then went back to her muffin. She’d get them later. “Well it’s my room. You shouldn’t be surprised to find my clothes lying around.” She laughed softly. At his response to her question, Amy looked up at him. "No... I really haven't, I am serious about wanting to run away, but I'm not doing it by myself." Amy honestly didn’t know what to make of that. She had been begging him to think of something else and to not run away earlier, and that was because she honestly didn’t want him to leave. She couldn’t imagine not having him around to torment her, and she knew she’d miss him if ever he did leave. There were plenty of other options for him. It wasn’t like he was underage and had no choice but to stay where he was and put up with it. He could leave. Amy thought so, at least. There were so many other options for him. "I met your friend Brittany by the way, and your friend Zoey, they think I'm cute! And that you use me just for my looks." Amy laughed, rolling her eyes. “Oh really, and just how did you meet them?” It didn’t really surprise her. What did surprise her was that he hadn’t known them before now. Arietta wasn’t all that big of a town. People tended to know each other, especially when you had lived in the place your entire life. That was just the way small towns worked.
Amy picked through the last of her muffin, throwing the wrapper in the trash and taking her hot chocolate in her hand. It was then that she looked over at him and actually took in his appearance, and was now noticing the scratches that were very noticeable on his face now that she actually looked at him. She sat her mug back on the night table next to her bed. “Aiden are you okay?” She resisted to urge to reach out and touch them, afraid that it might hurt him if she did. “Like... you’re not hurt badly, are you?” There was true concern for him in her eyes and voice as she stared at him. Amy had been lucky. She had gotten amazing parents, twice in fact. People who would never hurt her or mistreat her and loved her in spite of the fact that she drove them absolutely crazy. Aiden? He hadn’t been so lucky, and it really broke Amy’s heart to see. He was a good person, and he didn’t deserve this.

Aiden didn't love many things in this world today, but the one person that he found himself loving was Amy Orsino, the girl that stole his heart from the beginning. The reason he picked on her was simple, it was the way that he knew how to flirt, by getting her all flustered up. It was adorable when she'd strike back, she'd get this angry face on her, and it always made Aiden smirk. Their fights never lasted long, it was like the two of them were bipolar, one minute they'd be fighting next they are flirting. It was a usual bout for them, rather cute if you watched it go on. Aiden would always get on her good side by pouting at her, or by making a cute gesture towards her. He knew how to calm her down, and that was a good thing if she ever got so mad that she was going to take action against someone. Oh, of course he knew that Amy was a looker, he wasn't blind at all, so obviously he'd be more than willing to sleep with her if she ever offered. She never seemed like the type to do such a thing though, at least not with him. That led Aiden to believing that he wasn't her type, no matter how he worked for it, he just couldn't get her attention for long enough.
Aiden was over here almost every day, only met the Trents a few times though, since he knew how protective the boys were. They didn't scare Aiden, it was just the fact that it would be three against one, and he wasn't about to get involved with that. The best thing about coming here though, was the fact that he got great meals, they were fantastic and he never wanted to be home for dinner. It was usually Amy sneaking him food up in her room, but that was just fine with him. He understood if anyone found out that he was doing this, he'd get Amy into deep trouble, so he tended to be as quiet as possible, even snuck out some mornings when Amy was still sleeping. It was like he was the forbidden boyfriend, though they were nowhere near a relationship like that, no matter how much Aiden wished they could be. He wanted so bad just to be with her, but it would only break their friendship, and he wasn't sure if their little spats would get worse if they took that step. The two of them never slept together, never kissed, so it wasn't like anything had been started. He wanted to kiss her, and maybe he could get that bit out tonight, if she'd let him. "So... it's cool that I stay here tonight, right?" He asked, knowing the answer but just making sure that she was still okay with it. He knew she was busy with this wedding, so he wasn't going to stand in her way of doing that. Maybe she had someone coming over, who knows.
He laughed, knowing that she was right that he didn't really have much of anything stashed here. Most of it was just shirts and pants, sweatshirts as well, just in case he spent the night or something like that. "True, but I still think I should have my own draw so I don't try putting on your shirt or something." He nodded, and watched her expression change when he spoke about leaving town. He really didn't want to go alone, the reason why he had the gesture in mind that she'd come with him. "Maybe, you'd want to run away with me! Just us! Or maybe we can get an apartment together, so we don't have to do this sneaking anymore... but I guess that's really all up to you." He said, before just resuming pulling up his pants. When she spoke of her friends again, he was going to leave out some major parts of meeting the two of them, he didn't really want to say that he hooked up with them. Truthfully, he did it to see if she'd finally notice him, she'd give him the attention that he was searching for all this time. "Well, Zoey picked me up from the side of the road, my bike broke down, no I am not a prostitute!" He said as if reading her mind, then again that's what he would of thought if he had said something like that. He sorta wondered why he hadn't met the two sooner, maybe it was just because he was so focused on Amy, he had no idea.
He could feel her eyes on him, as if scanning his body and at first he felt sorta proud. She was noticing him now, wasn't she? That's what he was trying to get from her in the first place, and who knew that all he had to do was be shirtless in front of her. But, he heard her words and it caused him to open his eyes and look at her. "What? Oh... yeah, I'm fine... always been." He nodded, putting his hand out to her to try to pull her down next to him. No, he wasn't okay, and like he stated before, this happened on a regular basis. He had gotten used to the bruises and the blood, but there was a reason he had these muscles, the six-pack as well. It was because he started to fight back, he was sick of his father always having the upper hand, so he started to fight him, which did get him hurt worse but it also reduced major injuries. "I'm not hurt badly, love. Don't be so careful, you can touch." He said, giving her one of his traditional grins. She seemed scared to move closer, and he didn't want her to feel like that at all. Aiden was far from a fragile boy, and she should know that by now. words: 1044 tag: luna as amy! <3 notes:Sorry this took me a bit! Aiden just wants his Amy lovin.

i've been playing with you like a little toy yeah i got you ,
"So... it's cool that I stay here tonight, right?" Amy glanced over at him as she finished off her hot chocolate, nodding her head and thinking it was rather of stupid of him to ask such a thing. “Of course you can. You always do.” This was their routine, something they did all the time. It had become a habit, though Amy couldn’t say that she minded it much at all. She liked having the boy around, and as long as he didn’t make a lot of noise they could keep doing this. Amy couldn’t really say how it was her parents would react if they found out, but she knew that it wouldn’t be great, and that it would put an end to all of this. It wasn’t like Marion and Robert Trent didn’t know how she was. She wasn’t completely secretive about what happened in her personal life, and her adopted parents were idiots. But Amy had had Kade and Jared to pave the way for her, and she had followed very closely in their footsteps. But going over to Kaler Scott’s place and seducing him was a lot different than smuggling a boy into her room, even though they didn’t do anything of the sort. Her parents would frown on both quite equally, there was just something about having him there and sneaking him in that made her think it was all the more not okay. But Amy wasn’t one to live by rules or to do as she was told. A little danger wasn’t really a bad thing. And really, few people even knew that she did this. She hadn’t even confided this secret with Jared, whom she told just about everything to. Zoey knew some things, but there were some details that Amy left out. Like how frequently they did this and why they did it. That wasn’t really her secret to tell, and she kept it to herself. She wasn’t one to go sharing other people’s secrets.
"True, but I still think I should have my own draw so I don't try putting on your shirt or something." Amy rolled her eyes. “Please. I think you would realize it was my shirt when you couldn’t get it over your big head.” She grinned and laughed, teasing, but at the same time kind of serious. Aiden was a great deal bigger than she was. Amy was a very petite girl, being quite short and slender, and she was more than sure that nothing she had in her closet would ever come close to fitting him. He was very tall and built, though the thought of him trying to slip on some of her clothes was rather amusing. "Maybe, you'd want to run away with me! Just us! Or maybe we can get an apartment together, so we don't have to do this sneaking anymore... but I guess that's really all up to you." Amy sighed. Here they went again. She honestly didn’t understand his crazy idea, but he kept bringing it up, despite how many she said no. She could never leave her family, or her friends. She loved this town too much for that. Besides, if she ever tried doing something like that, she knew her oldest brother, Kade, would come hunting her down, throwing her over his shoulder and bringing her home whether she wanted to be there or not. He would never let her do it. But no one really had to worry about that because Amy honestly didn’t plan on leaving them. This time she didn’t respond to that, though. She just kept quiet and changed to subject to something else, refusing to acknowledge his crazy notion.
"Well, Zoey picked me up from the side of the road, my bike broke down, no I am not a prostitute!" Amy laughed, shaking her head. “No? Could have fooled me.” She giggled at her own joke. She was teasing him very much so, thoughts of him standing on a street corner coming to her but she kept them to herself and said nothing more. Though she very well could have. Instead she took a different approach and addressed the wounds she saw, not liking it one bit. "What? Oh... yeah, I'm fine... always been." Amy wasn’t so convinced, and she didn’t take his hand when he held it out to her. "I'm not hurt badly, love. Don't be so careful, you can touch." Amy hesitated where she sat, thinking about brushing it off and moving on to something else, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Slowly she inched forward until she was sitting next to him, her hand reaching out slowly to touch the side of his face where he had been scratched, her fingers brushing gently over them. Her eyes moved elsewhere, seeing other injuries, whether they were fresh or old she couldn’t tell, but not liking them one bit. She withdrew her hand, her dark eyes looking up to meet his, wishing there was something she could do to help him, but having no idea what more she could do than what she already had. She tried to help him as much as she could. She wanted to help him. But there was only so much an eighteen year old high school girl could do in a situation like this. “Is there anything I can do?” she asked softly, feeling sad for what happened to him and wishing she could change it. She didn’t believe his crazy idea of running away would fix anything, and that it wasn’t the answer, but she guessed she could understand his desire to do so, not that she approved. Still, she wished she could do something, anything, to make this better for him, to change it. But she doubted she could.
