this post is tagged for kade marshall trent && jared mitchell trent . it is dunzo and has seven hundred and fourty nine words. the one and only train contributed to this inspiration from the song marry me . randi is looking amazing in her wedding dress this template was created by the amazing amber you steal it and there will be an angry baby who will eat your brains no joke. additional notes oh the wedding <3 ______________________ Miranda James had waited for an eternity to actually be saying that she was going to marry the man of her dreams. For six long years, she had waited patiently being the girl that never left his side, that was his partner in crime. Now, she was standing in a church waiting to walk down the aisle as everyone around her clamored around to get in their dresses and finish their hair and make-up. Randi had been up since seven in the morning, sick to her stomach with the pre-wedding jitters. When she had started to get ready with Addie that morning, all she could think about was actually going home with Jared that night and being his wife. She was constantly smiling, and for once in her life everything was going exactly the way that it was supposed to. Addie was a wizard whenever it came to her hair, and the little updo that was done was simple and elegant. She was thankful that there were so many people in her life that actually cared. Mykayla, Amy, Britt, and Charlie were all supposed to be at the church by one, but Randi wanted to be ready. Sure she could paint her toes with the girls, get dressed, and finish the small touches like her jewelry and everything else whenever she arrived at the church. All of that was the easy stuff, it was the actual act of walking down the aisle of a church to see Jared Trent waiting that was setting the butterflies loose in her tummy.
THe blushing bride arrived at the church, and thankful that there had been some strategic planning on everyone else’s part that she did not have to worry about seeing Jared before the ceremony. A few hours were nothing, and there was Addie making sure all of the bobbie pins were in place and that everything was perfect. The girls had not known about the final decision of the dress, but she smiled at Charlie. THe dress was hanging in the garment bag, and she looked at the clock. It was two-thirty and all that Randi had left to do was put on the dress and her shoes. She was so nervous, and that was when she saw Grams come into the room. “Miranda, you will be beautiful as ever. But I want you to wear this.” It was the necklace that her great-grandmother had given Grams on her wedding day. Miranda’s face lit up without hesitation as she put on her piece of old jewelry. She had a blue garter, a brand new dress, and then she was frantic. Where was her borrowed item? That was when she remembered that Kay had given her the pair of shoes that were on her feet. The bride was finally ready, and that was whenever the knock came on the door. Amy stuck her head out and it was time for everyone to start lining up. The dress that she had picked could not have been a better choice, and she was ready. Flowers in hand, she made her way up to the foyer, carefully up the stairs with Charlie following behind her. That was when she realized this was really really happening!
She watched as everyone started to take their places; she smirked at Kaler and was glad that he actually made it onto the hallowed ground. It was funny to think that he wouldn’t have. “You made it safe and sound. I told you that you would be fine. God owed me.” And that was when the doors opened and Randi had to step back, so no one would see her. She looked at Kade and though she was calm she was nervous. Every piece of her body was shaking and she was genuinely nervous about walking down the aisle. Her hazel eyes locked onto Kade’s and she tried to smile. “This is really happening. Like really happening? I’m nervous Kade.” Miranda was nervous and terrified of everything that was going to happen, but she also knew that Kade had the getaway car parked in case she really wanted to get out of the whole thing. A big breath in and she was going to be fine. She hoped....who was she kidding. She wanted this more than anything else in the world, and everyone knew it. Now it was just time to actually say the words.

Kade did not like suits, or tuxes, or whatever the hell this thing was technically called. It made him feel more fidgety than he already was, and he kept fussing with it although Marion had told him time and time again that it fit fine. There was just something about having to be all dressed up that Kade wasn’t a fan of, seeing as he dressed for comfort and rarely had anything happen in his life that required him to dress up all fancy like. There were a lot of little annoying voices talking at him in his head, voicing complaints that he himself would not dare to utter today because today, nothing at all was about him. Today was his little brother’s day, and Kade would not be the one that did a single thing to make it complicated for him. There had been a lot of anticipation for this wedding, and no one was happier for Jared and Miranda than Kade. He was Jared’s big brother, and he had always thought of Randi as a little sister even from the beginning. The fact that the two had finally woken up and realized that they belonged with each other was nothing but happy as everyone had pitched in to help throw this wedding together in the short time that it had been. It was rather amazing, and Kade could see how happy Jared was without even having to try and look. So, even if Kade had to be in the ridiculous get up and feel completely uncomfortable in it the whole time, it was going to be a damn good day. He would make sure of that.
He had arrived at the church with Jared, Hunter, Mykayla, Amy, and their parents. Everything was set up, things ready to go and all that was left for them to do was sit around and wait. Amy and Mykayla had run off with many other things to do, like their hair and make-up and dresses and…whatever else. Kaler rolled in eventually, of course him being the one with the flask for the boys to do shots out of. Hunter was going to need that liquid courage the most, seeing as he had to walk arm-in-arm with a woman that had shattered his heart. One would probably think that Jared would need it the most, but he was completely calm, and his crazy little self as they waited and then went to take his place at the front of the church. Nothing was getting to him, and it made Kade smile. Jared was absolutely ready for this. That was when the bride herself and the bride’s maids made their entrance, and they went to take their places as well before Kay lined up and prepared to do her flower girl duties. Kade’s hazel eyes lingered on his little sister for only a moment before he looked back to the beautiful Randi, a kind smile on his lips. He could tell that she was nervous, and next she was telling him as much. “Come on, what’s there to be nervous about?” he asked, joking a little as he gave her a playful nudge. His hazel eyes drifted from her face to her frame as a whole, taking in the sight of her and looking back up at her with a smaller, absolutely genuine smile. “You’re beautiful, Randi. I feel kind of bad that I get to see you before Jared does.”
Looking at her, Kade knew that this was the same way that he would feel when Mykayla and Amy got married, and it was a good feeling because Kade knew that Jared and Randi were meant for each other. Kade leaned in and placed a small, sweet kiss to Randi’s forehead before pulling back and looking down into her dark eyes. “Now, let’s get you down this aisle before I decide to run away with you myself.” He winked at her before offering her his arm. It was almost their turn, everyone in the church anxious to see the bride, but the most anxious among was the awaiting groom. When Kade and Randi started down the aisle, of course every eye turned on the beautiful bride, people awed by her dress and her bridal glory, but no one’s breath would be taken away like Jared’s was when he saw his pretty girl walking down that aisle towards him. There were no words to describe it, and nothing was in his head at all except for Randi, his face in a permanent smile as she reached him and Kade gave her away to him. Jared and Randi had only just seen each other this morning when he had snuck out of her room, but that seemed like so long ago, and this moment was completely different. He mouthed an “I love you” to her as the preacher started, her hands in his and him feeling tears prick at the back of his eyes, but Jared didn’t even care. They were tears of pure joy, and he knew that this moment would be one that he remembered for the rest of his life.

She was terrified as she stood there in her wedding dress, realizing that she was going to be one of the family. Miranda James had always been one of the Trent’s, and that was why she could not have been happier to have Kade Trent as the man to give her away. He had been through everything with her, and he protected her like he would Amy or Mykayla. It was something that she had not had in her life until him. She stood there fidgeting with her flowers, and trying to make sure that her dress was in the right place. It was obvious that the brunette was nervous, and it was not because she did not want this. To be honest she had absolutely no idea why she was as nervous as she was, but she was so extremely nervous. Her stomach was a roller coaster, and when she finally met the hazel eyes of her soon to be brother he was able to calm her down. “Oh you know, just being nervous. There are a lot of thoughts going on up here in this pretty little head of mine.” She tried to smile, and the corner of her mouth drifted up. His nudge is what got Randi back into being her silly, playful self as she nudged him back. Kade always knew how to brighten her mood, and no one else would have been able to get her out of her nervous fidgeting.
She could feel him eyeing her up and down, and for a moment she felt that she had made the wrong decision on the dress. His words though made a bright smile come to her lips. Apparently she was beautiful, and it made her cheeks flush a little. “You really think so? I really hope he likes the dress. I am so excited to see his face.” Her hazel eyes were sparkling with excitement; the nervous jitters were gone and now all she needed was actually get down the aisle to her wonderful fiance. More than anything she just wanted to be his forever and call it a day. She felt her brother’s lips against her forehead, and she knew that this was right. Jared was the only person that she was meant to be with, and whenever Kade looked at her she knew that she was not the only one in the town to believe it. It had taken six years and a few months, but thanks to everyone important in her life she was able to throw a wedding together in less than a month. Kade spoke, and she smiled brightly. She was ready, and that was all she needed to get the little push down the aisle. “No running away with me. I like where I am.” She knew above all else that everyone’s eyes would be on her, but as soon as the doors opened the only person that she made eye contact with was Jared.
He looked absolutely handsome standing in his tux, just as ready as she was. Randi’s eyes were locked on him, as both their breath were taken away from each other. Her eyes were dancing around with excitement, as she smiled at the man that had completely captured her heart. Kade gave her hands to Jared, and that was when this struck her. She was getting married, and she handed her flowers back to Charlie as she turned to Jared. He was amazing, and then the words she always loved to see, hear, anything graced his lips. She smiled brightly, before answering him “I love you.” The preacher started to speak, and there were tears starting to spring for Jared’s eyes. She looked at Kay briefly, and there were tears there too. Randi was almost in tears as she listened as it was her turn to speak, she looked at Jared and was stuck. She smiled before speaking the words that everyone knew would come from her lips “I do.” The pastor turned to Jared and repeated the vows to Jared as she looked at him. She was so thankful to have him in her life, and to become his wife.

So, if someone had asked Jared this time last year what he would be doing, he would have given them some insane kind of answer that would have either involved something to do with the moon, sailing around the Caribbean looking for Captain Jack, or building himself some kind of awesome machine that would give him magical powers. Yeah, Jared was a little off the wall and would have given those answers, then simply turned away like he was dead serious and giving the person that had asked him the impression that he really was crazy, but that was just Jared Trent for you. He liked to have fun, but he would also consider the question seriously, and he would have known that his answer. He would be doing exactly what he was doing now, and Jared was the kind of guy that was completely okay with that. He loved his hometown, his family, and his friends. He liked his job at the marina, and he was content to stay exactly where he was in life. Except things had turned out a little differently and way better than Jared would have dreamed a year ago. He wouldn’t have been able to guess that his underlying feelings for Miranda James would make themselves known and that he would get the courage to ask her to marry him. He also would have never guessed that they would be that crazy couple that would throw a wedding together in a month, but if anyone could have done it was him and Randi.
Things had come together so well, and it was really kind of shocking that the day of the wedding was upon them already. The time had flown by, but no one was more excited about this than Jared was. He was head over heels in love with Miranda, and he couldn’t wait to make her his wife and start out on this whole new part of their life together. He had been kicking himself in the ass for not doing this sooner, as it seemed like they had wasted so much time that they could have had together, but Jared and Randi had always been together. She had always been right there, his best partner in crime, and they had seen each other through a lot over the six years that they had been best friends. Now they were making it all official, becoming husband and wife and finally getting exactly what they wanted. With her, Jared would be complete, and that was what let him walk into the church that day with a smile on his lips and his head held high. Nerves had never been a thing that the young man possessed, him putting on his tux and joking around with his brothers and Kaler easily as though today were just another day. He was obviously excited, but that was almost a natural state for Jared. He gladly took the shots from Kaler’s flask that he was offered, though, and then when it was time he took his spot at the front of the church and was bouncing on his toes in anticipation.
It was amazing to see so many people gathered there to celebrate in this with him and Randi. His mother and father were right there, Rob looking proud as ever and Marion already dabbing tears away from her eyes as the wedding party entered. Mykayla was cute as ever as an adult flower girl walking with her young ring bearer boy, but Jared was most anxious to see Randi, and his eyes were on her and only her from the moment she was in view. Dear God, she was beautiful, so breath taking and dazzling that it was almost heartbreaking. There would never be another bride as beautiful as she was, and Jared couldn’t keep the smile off of his lips. He nodded his thanks to his older brother as Kade gave this beautiful bride away and then took his place beside of Jared as his best man. Then it was all about Randi and Jared, Jared almost completely tuning out what the preacher was say because his world was Randi in that moment. But, when those two precious words spilled from her lips, Jared could feel himself choking up. Luckily for him, Jared was a guy that was completely open with his emotions and was not afraid to cry because he was certain that these tears that were pricking at his eyes were obvious to those that were close enough to see. Then it was Jared’s turn, and a grin came to his lips as he looked into Randi’s beautiful dark eyes. “I do.” And then it was done; they had what they wanted, and that was each other. The preacher pronounced them husband and wife, and the kiss that the shared then was the most powerful, passionate kiss Jared could have imagined. People clapped and cheered and whistled, but it was all just background noise as Jared and Randi walked down the aisle, his world turning around her and this perfect day they had shared, and the perfect life they were about to embark on.
