Amy was pissed; there was nothing more that could be said about it. She was fed up with him and his childish antics, and this had been the final straw for the young girl. She marched into the jail, still dressed in her bridesmaid dress, a scowl on her face. She didn’t know if she could ever forgive him for what he had just done. Amy was quite a tolerate person, and she had been putting up with a lot of shit lately. But this? This was crossing the line. She talked to the officer there about bailing him out, going through all the necessary steps before they would finally release the boy. She stood waiting, her arms crossed over her chest. When she got done with him he was going to wish she had left his ass there to rot. How had this day gone so horribly wrong? It was supposed to be a joyous day where they celebrated the uniting of two very wonderful people. Jared and Miranda’s wedding day was supposed to be great, and something they would always remember. Well, they were sure to remember this, but not in the way that they had all probably hoped they would. Amy had suspected something like this would happen, though she hadn’t realized how bad it would get or that things would come this out of hand. Considering how many people in this town disliked each other, putting them all together in one place was not surprising. Amy had expected as much out of Kade and Brittany. The two had barely made it through all the preparations and the rehearsal dinner without killing each other. She had known something would go down between them, but compared to what had just happened, their little confrontation had been rather tame.
But this was something Amy hadn’t seen coming. She hadn’t expected her best friend to do something like this at her brother’s wedding. He had been acting weird, becoming a person she wasn’t so sure she liked, and after tonight that feeling was growing so much stronger. She had invited him to an event that meant so much to her family, and he had ruined it. You just didn’t do something like that. Amy hadn’t had to bring him, but she had because he was the one she wanted to share this with. Had she known what she did now she would have talked Jaime or Lucas into coming with her. Neither of them would have done what Aiden had. But she hadn’t seen this coming, she hadn’t expected it. It caught her completely off guard, and she was not pleased with the result. Because now instead of enjoying the rest of the night with her family and having a good time she was here at the town’s small jail bailing his ass out. It was then that she remembered her other friend who was also being detained; the other half to the chaos that had ensued. She withdrew her cell phone and dialed a number that was somewhat familiar to her. Vidette. Amy couldn’t just leave Kaler there to rot in jail. He was her friend too, but she knew that bailing him out at the same time as Aiden would not lead to a good thing. More than likely it would lead to another fight, and that was something Amy couldn’t handle right now. The phone rang but went to voicemail, and Amy sighed. “Hey Viddy. I’m at the jail bailing Aiden out. You might want to come and get Kaler… Alright then. See you later.” As she hung up the phone Aiden was brought out to her. She glared at him, then pointed to the door, waiting until he exited then followed him out.
She felt like a mother getting ready to scold her child. It was a bad analogy, but it was exactly how she felt. She was so angry at that moment that she was trembling. She felt betrayed by what he had done, but mostly she was just angry. How could he have done that!? She had brought him to a family event, and this was how he repaid her. After everything she had ever done for him! She stalked behind him, her dress ruffling around her legs as she walked quickly to keep up with him. Once they were a decent way away from the door of the jail, she grabbed his arm hard, signally that he was to stop. “What the hell is wrong with you!?” she shouted, her temper finally getting the best of her. She was a Trent, and being this angry was never a good thing. Trents had mean tempers unmatched by almost anyone, and few stood up to them when they were angry. Amy was a tiny little person, but hers could be something fierce when she chose to show it, and right now she was. She didn’t expect him to back down. He never did. But her anger now was worse than anything she had ever felt towards him before, and it was a side that he was going to be able to get to see for the first time. “You have done a lot of shitty things, Aiden, but this is without a doubt the worst thing you have EVER DONE!” Her voice was steadily rising until she was shouting at him completely. Though they were a good distance away from the door, there was a very good chance that the officers inside could hear her. “You have RUINED my brother’s wedding, and all because you just had to START SOMETHING!!” And really, it was a ridiculous reason to start something. She just didn’t understand him anymore. She couldn’t grasp anything about him now, and especially not in this moment. She just had no idea how they had gotten here. How all of this had gone so terribly wrong.
She paused for a moment, but quickly started back up again. “You know, Aiden, I’m getting sick and TIRED of your ATTITUDE! You got dealt a bad hand. SO WHAT!? We all get them! I lost my ENTIRE FAMILY and you don’t see me going around STARTING FIGHTS and pushing away the ONLY PERSON WHO ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT ME!” Amy didn’t talk about the loss of her family often, because it was something that still caused her a great deal of pain, even after ten years. It was something everyone knew about, though, and it had taken her a great deal of time to be okay again. That had been the worst thing Amy could have ever imagined happening, but things had gotten better. In the end things always got better. She was as good of an example of that as anyone. “I should have let you ROT in there. Maybe then you might actually APPRECIATE having a FRIEND LIKE ME!” Because despite her constant mischievous streak and occasional tendency to cause trouble, Amy was a really good friend. She was dependable and loyal and she had done a hell of a lot for this boy standing in front of her. But apparently that didn’t mean anything to him. “WELL!?” she shouted after a moment of silence passed between them. “What do you have to say for yourself!?” Because she was waiting for an explanation, and she would get one out of him if it was the last thing she did. She was his ride home, so unless he planned on walking he was going to have to do this. Amy was going to make it to happen, and they weren’t leaving here until it did.

The feel of cold steel against his wrists wasn't something new to him, being arrested wasn't all that familiar though. It had happened once or twice before, for stupid little things when he was sixteen or one of those rebellious jerky teens. Blood seeped down his face, his nose, and his eye was puffing up. The tux that he had on was ripped in a few places, the jacket now missing and the white shirt dirty. He didn't mean for things to go like this, didn't mean for things to go this far at a wedding. But after the first thing started, after the whole thing with everyone else had begun, he knew this was his chance to beat Kaler. And yes, he indeed did, they shared punches actually, seemed like they were both in the same position. It went by so fast, and before he knew it, two cops had them pinned on the hood of a police car. Really, he didn't mean for it to become all of this, words were thrown, and thanks to people like Isobel, as well as a few others, Aiden didn't hold back. This guy needed a punch in the face though, taunting him about Amy, and Aiden knew it wasn't only him that was upset with this man. So, about time someone did something about it, if only it didn't get so far.
He sat there, silent and staring at the ground below him. He was still pissed off, but he knew that he was in deep trouble with Amy. His eyes closed when he heard the sound of footsteps and the door was opened, handcuffs were placed back onto him as he was directed out. He saw the face of a pissed off Amy, and it caused him to look away from her instantly. He didn't speak a word, Aiden Daniels was embarrassed for once, he was angry at himself and still angry at the perverted little fuck that was in the cell next to his just before. Why did he do this? He did this for Amy, he did this because he was so sick of beating around the bush with her, so sick of pretending like he didn't care. He did, he cared a lot about her, and she didn't even look at him twice. This wasn't about his family life, it was nothing about himself really, just the fact that it made him mad and he didn't want to do this. He was directed outside, and was soon stopped by her, and the yelling started. Aiden couldn't help but wince when she started, stepping back so that he didn't get hit by her flying around arms.
He let her yell, let her get it all out of her system, didn't look at her though, averted his eyes everywhere else, the floor was his best spot. But the fact that she thought that he started this, had set him off a bit. He rose his head, not caring about the blood that was coming from his lip or anything. "I started something? Obviously, you didn't hear him, talking about you like you were just a piece of meat to him." He started out, with fire starting in his eyes. She didn't get that he had done this for her, that it wasn't because he was mocked, wasn't because he was pushed over the edge, but because Kaler said something crude about Amy. The antics from Izzy were a bit of a help, from what he understood, if Aiden didn't step in when he did, Izzy would of beaten him to it. "Listen, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to become that bad, and I didn't mean for it to be taken that far." He tried speaking in a calm tone, to try and sooth her but he knew that was the last thing she wanted right now. They were best friends, their arguments never lasted long at all, but this one was going to keep going until he admitted something, something he'd be waiting to say for almost a year now.
He rose an eyebrow as she kept going, the next sentence causing him to snap a bit and to take a step forward at her. "Whoa whoa whoa! This fight had NOTHING to do about me, it was more about you. You obviously can't tell when someone CARES for you and when someone is just USING you. I happen to be the first!" He started, that fire coming back and by now both their cheeks were red in colour. Yes, he did need to thank her for coming to his rescue, did need to be in her debt for actually coming to get him even after everything and so he did. "Thank you, yes I know you've been a fantastic friend to me, but you can't see what's in front of you! I made you angry to notice me! Sleeping with Zoey, that was all to try to get your attention!" He didn't think bad of Zoey now though, she was a fun girl, and he respected her and became friends with her. But sleeping with her had all been for the fun of it, and to get Amy's attention, which hadn't really worked. Now she was giving him a chance to speak, and so he was going to begin his mini-rant. "You want to know WHY I did this? Hm? Because I. LOVE. YOU. You got that much, right? I did it because I'm in love with you, because I was jealous and because I can't stand hearing someone speak about you in any sort of way demeaning. I don't give a shit if you don't feel the same way, this is getting it off of my chest!" He yelled, stepping closer to her and knowing that his voice was rising. He continued on his rant though, and he wasn't going to stop until he got it through her stubborn skull. "The reason I always did those things to make you mad was to make you notice me, to keep your attention on me. Obviously that failed because you had other... things going on but since you wanted to know that's it! Yes, I, Aiden Daniels, love you, Amy Orsino! Do you want me to shout it to the whole world, cause I will! Yes, I'm SORRY that I did this now, I'm SORRY that he's such a prick and deserved every fucking minute of it! It's no-" He stopped his sentence to cough, he wasn't taking enough breathes as he spoke, and he wiped the blood away from his lip that dripped. He took a deep breath and tried to regather himself, not sure what else to say other than everything he had gotten out. "...well, you told me to explain myself and that's what I have to say! If you don't want to be friends with me anymore, go ahead and walk away, I'll find a way somewhere... but just remember the fact that I told you my feelings, I told you something I just couldn't hold in... don't hold it against me now." He finished, feeling a headache coming on. He probably looked like he went through a blender, and was in need of a nice shower and some thousand bandages. He was in pain, in stress, and all in all... just wanting to curl up in a ball and die. Wonderful feeling, indeed.

Amy watched him, her dark eyes taking him in angrily as she waited for him to explain himself; waited for him to give her some kind of explanation or excuse as to why he would do this. Because she had no idea at all right now as to why he would betray her like this. Because that’s what she saw it as: a betrayal. She had trusted him to behave and to just, be a friend to her. She had wanted them to just have a good time together and enjoy her brother’s happy day. But then all hell had broken loose in ways she couldn’t have even imagined. She had never expected this, and it hurt, but mostly she was just angry. And at the moment, all that anger was directed at the man in front of her. "I started something? Obviously, you didn't hear him, talking about you like you were just a piece of meat to him." Amy didn’t believe that for a second, and either Aiden was making it up or he had heard wrong. Because she knew Kaler Scott, and she knew what she could and couldn’t believe when it came to him. And that she didn’t believe. Few people seemed to see the good in Kaler, but he wouldn’t have degraded her like Aiden was suggested. She didn’t say anything on that, though, but merely waited for him to continue. "Listen, I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to become that bad, and I didn't mean for it to be taken that far." She figured she believed that, but it did nothing to help her anger. He may not have meant for it to happen, or for it to go as far as it had, but it had still happened. He had still done it, and that was something that was hard for Amy to over look.
But he didn’t take her attack on him as well as the first, and he took a step towards her, something that was quite dangerous considering her temper. If she had been anything of a violent person, there was a good chance she would have already hit him. Him getting closer, though, made the idea all the more tempting, and he was entering into a dangerous zone. "Whoa whoa whoa! This fight had NOTHING to do about me, it was more about you. You obviously can't tell when someone CARES for you and when someone is just USING you. I happen to be the first!" That wasn’t the case at all, but once again Amy didn’t correct him. She knew when people were using her, but that was exactly what she had wanted when it had come to Kaler. She had wanted him to use her, and she had wanted to use him. She had been the one to pursue him, making up her mind quickly that she wanted him and that she was going to have him if it was the last thing she did. She hadn’t cared that it was technically illegal for them to be together. She had wanted the pleasures he had to offer her, but she had ended up finding a friend in him. So to say that he didn’t care about her was an outright lie, whether Aiden knew it or not. "Thank you, yes I know you've been a fantastic friend to me, but you can't see what's in front of you! I made you angry to notice me! Sleeping with Zoey, that was all to try to get your attention!" She was confused, not totally sure what he was getting at. She had noticed him, whether he knew it or not, and his sleeping with Zoey had done nothing but hurt her. She hadn’t liked the idea and it was taking a lot of time for the her to be okay with it. But what was done was done, and Zoey, nor Amy, could change what had happened between them.
What he said next threw her off guard, though. "You want to know WHY I did this? Hm? Because I. LOVE. YOU. You got that much, right? I did it because I'm in love with you, because I was jealous and because I can't stand hearing someone speak about you in any sort of way demeaning. I don't give a shit if you don't feel the same way, this is getting it off of my chest!" She was so shocked that she felt her jaw drop, slightly, but she quickly recovered and closed it shut, her dark eyes locked on his as he yelled at her, the anger creeping out of her body slowly, leaving nothing but shock and surprise behind. He stepped closer to her, and all Amy could do was tilt her head slightly so that she could look up at him, her entire body frozen in place. It's no-" He stopped and coughed, wiping the blood from his lip. She had no idea what he had been about to say, but she didn’t ask. "...well, you told me to explain myself and that's what I have to say! If you don't want to be friends with me anymore, go ahead and walk away, I'll find a way somewhere... but just remember the fact that I told you my feelings, I told you something I just couldn't hold in... don't hold it against me now." It took her a moment to recover from everything he said, but slowly the feeling came back to her body and she was able to move.
Amy took a step backwards from him, suddenly self-conscience about how close they were. She supposed it all came down to this. She looked up at him, already able to feel the tears in her eyes, but that was mostly because of her anger a minute ago and not from what was about to be said. “It’s not that I’ve never noticed you,” she said softly, the volume so drastic from what it had been before. She looked down at the pavement beneath her feet, not so sure she could look him in the eye when she said it. “It’s just…” She paused. “I… I’m scared.” It was something so simple, but it took everything she had in her to say. She had a perfectly reasonable explanation for it, too, but she almost felt embarrassed by it. Had any other girl been in her position in that moment, they probably would have thrown themselves at him, but not Amy. Instead she backed away. Slowly she lifted her eyes back to his. “I… I couldn’t deal with how I felt for you. I don’t know if I still can. It scares me because I’ve never felt like that before. Not for anybody. I just… I didn’t know what to do with that.” She paused, biting her lower lip nervously. “But mostly it’s because… I don’t want to lose you.” It was her greatest fear, though she had never voiced it. Every time he talked about running away or leaving this place and never coming back, her fear returned and she was terrified that he would really do it and leave her. “No relationship has ever worked out for me, Aiden! None of them!” The volume in her voice rose, and what she said was very true. Eventually they all went south for some reason, and it was usually because of her. She hadn’t actually had many relationships in her life, but they all had the same result. “And I’ve watched my brothers go through it time and time again. Kade had the love of his life and he just let it all slip right through his fingers! And Hunter’s had his heart broken so many times by girls who don’t realize how utterly amazing he is. And Mykayla…” She shook her head. “Jared’s the only one that’s gotten it right. What does that say about me?” So far the track record wasn’t looking good, and if she was following in the footsteps of her siblings, who was to say that it was going to go well for her?
“I would rather have you as my friend then not have you at all.” It explained everything, really. She couldn’t stand the thought of losing him. She couldn’t imagine not having him in her life. Slowly she took a step forward. “When Zoey told me what you two… did… I didn’t like it. I hated her for what she did, and that it had to be you of all people that she… fooled around with.” There was a light pause. “I don’t know if this could ever work…but I love you too.” That was her admitting it, something Amy Orsino had never done before. Until that moment she hadn’t even admitted it to herself. But she could see that this was what it had come down to, and her fear of losing him had driven her to making the declaration. But that didn’t mean that he still wouldn’t leave. In that moment she wanted so badly for him to reassure her that he wasn’t going anywhere; that he wasn’t going to leave her. But she didn’t hold her breath for it. Instead she just waited, because she honestly didn’t know how this would all go next.

It was obvious by now that Aiden didn't like Kaler, that he was sick of seeing his face and that he had pretty much ruined it. With that little push from Izzy that he had gotten, it was clear to him that he wasn't the only one hurting about something Kaler had done. The fight was to prove who was stronger, though Aiden was mad, he wasn't looking to kill the guy, so he held back a bit. They matched even, in the end Aiden had kicked the disgusting manwhore down and that was when they were both taken in cuffs. He knew that Randi was probably pissed at him, and it had been evident that Amy was too. No matter how awkward him and Randi were before, he needed to apologize to her, for everything that happened. But right now, that was all out of his mind as he yelled his feelings to the female in front of him. He had no idea what Kaler and Amy had done, except for the fact slept together, and that caused him to be pissed off. No one touched Amy, and got away with it, he hated that man and knew he wasn't alone. It seemed the stupid man whore was stuck in high school, when sleeping around was oh so scandalous, and clearly Aiden could of gotten the idiot in more trouble. Amy was underage, as was Zoey, and probably other girls as well, so he should consider himself lucky. But, he blocked it out again, staring at the female and wanting her to say something, other than look at him in shock. It took him years to figure out that he really loved her, all those feelings he bottled away, it was all because his heart swelled a little too big for her. Aiden was a jerk to her a number of times, maybe all the teasing and being a jerk was because he liked her. It was indeed new to admit that, but it was also nice.
The anger in his face was still evident, but it was slowly disappearing as she started to speak, his hands were no longer balled in fists. His eyes stayed on her, anger slowly drifting away as if they were in another time and place right now. "Amy..." He started, but was going to let her finish with everything she needed to say. It seemed like she needed to get this out, just like he had been wanting to get everything out that he told her a few moments ago. Losing him seemed to be on her mind, and he noticed that maybe he shouldn't of talked about running away so much. He started to think about her statement though, she had said that no relationship had ever worked out for her. Was that his fault? Did he scare them away all the time? He never meant to, but he guessed that he most likely did it a few times, or... all the time really. He was so protective over her, that he prevented her from being happy. Once she stopped for a moment, it was his turn to take over the situation, and he had been going through it in his mind already. "It means, that you can be your own person. That you can walk your own path and we can make it work, when have you ever put down a challenging thing? Think of this as one of those." He started, smiling at her and placing his hands on her shoulders. Maybe no one in the past was right for her like he was, though that only sounded conceded of him, so he kept his mouth shut on that. "We've been friends for so long, that I know you better than I know anyone else, and I know you know me very well." He said, trying to make her realize that they could have something that would last long. Maybe not forever, but at least a few years, at least... well... right now Aiden was hoping to make it forever and a day.
His eyes had softened by now, but the word 'friend' had made him frown a bit. "Amy... I'm not going anywhere... not now, not ever." He said to her, reaching a hand out and running two fingers over her cheek. He wasn't really sure what to say to her, he wasn't sure if this could really work out between them. Aiden couldn't help but think it through, think about how much he wanted to be with her and how much he wanted to make this work. "How about this, I'll make a deal with you... we work this out... and I promise you that I'll love you to the best of my ability, that means I'm staying right here." He smiled, reaching down and taking her hand in his. He fiddled with it for a moment, before lifting it and kissing the top of it. He wasn't sure what else to do, nor did he know what else to say at this moment. He was not about to try to convince her of anything, he was being one hundred percent truthful. "You're all I ever wanted since day one, it's the reason I begged you to run away with me, the reason... for this." He whispered, closing the gap between them and having to lean down slightly to catch her lips. They had indeed never kissed before, well they may have when they were drunk but he never remembered the feeling in the morning. This... this he was going to remember, the fireworks that set off behind his eyelids, the bubbly feeling in his stomach, this was perfect. Aiden Daniels was in love, and here he thought he'd never see the day for something like this, he hoped the girl would feel the same.

Amy didn’t think she had ever put herself out there like she just had with Aiden. She wasn’t really one to open herself up and tell people how she felt. It was a trait she seemed to share with her siblings, she felt. She had watched them many a times deny how they felt and sometimes even lose the ones they truly cared about. It had seemed that that might actually be the same fate she would one day have. But then all of this had happened and here it was, Amy left having told Aiden exactly how she felt, and also about one of her greatest fears. To look at her, no one would probably guess that she was afraid of losing someone. She had every reason to be, though, and she did. Her greatest fear was that she would wake up one day and everyone she knew and loved would be gone. It had happened once, after all, and though most would probably see it as something impossible to happen, Amy didn’t. With all of his talk of leaving, Amy saw that it was the most likely that it would be the man she loved that left her. She didn’t know if she’d be able to handle that. She honestly couldn’t imagine not having him around on a daily basis. She enjoyed their conversations, even their constant, bi-polar bickering. She loved when he climbed the tree outside her bedroom and just hung around, not even really upset that it was because he had nowhere else to go. She enjoyed their time together, and the thought that he might leave and never come back hurt more than anything. Amy didn’t know if she could have handled that. She would probably turn into the spitting image of Britt if that happened, unable to properly function. It was very likely it would destroy her.
And so she bottled it all up and didn’t put it out there. If she didn’t let on to how she felt, then she couldn’t be hurt when he left. Or so her own twisted logic believed. She had also never felt something this strong before, which was very scary in itself, especially after seeing her brothers fail so many times, not to mention all of her other failed relationships. Nothing ever seemed to pan out for her family. But now that was all out in the open and all she could do was stand there and wait until he said something. Anything. "It means, that you can be your own person. That you can walk your own path and we can make it work, when have you ever put down a challenging thing? Think of this as one of those." This was true, she supposed. Amy was one that saw challenges and embraced them head on, determined to prove whoever it was that said she couldn’t do something or that it was too difficult wrong. But it was something different when it came to affairs of the heart. She was a tough little girl, but she didn’t think she was as strong as Kade or even Hunter, who seemed to bounce back from heartbreak like it was nothing at all. She didn’t think she could ever do that. "We've been friends for so long, that I know you better than I know anyone else, and I know you know me very well." This was also true. She doubted there were few people that knew her better than Aiden did. She might even be able to say that he knew her better than Zoey did, which was a stretch as Zoey and her were practically like sisters. But he did know her extremely well, and Amy was a creature of habit, never really one to change in her ways. And Amy knew him pretty darn well herself. They had been friends for so long that Amy couldn’t actually ever remember a time when he wasn’t there. Knowing each other so well kind of came with the territory of knowing each other so long.
His hands were on her shoulders, but all she could do was look up at him and take it all in. She didn’t move and she barely breathed. When she saw his eyes soften, she felt something in her melt slightly, waiting to see what else it was he had to say to her. "Amy... I'm not going anywhere... not now, not ever." He reached out and ran his fingers over her cheeks, and those two small things, his words and his touch, succeeded in bringing a small smile to her face. "How about this, I'll make a deal with you... we work this out... and I promise you that I'll love you to the best of my ability, that means I'm staying right here." The more he spoke the better Amy felt about all of this, and the more she thought that there was just a slim chance that something like this could work for them. Granted they already had a dysfunctional friendship, and it was likely that that much would never change, but maybe that was just what could work for them? They had made it work so far. He smiled and took her hand into his, lifting it to his face and kissing it. It was corny and strange, but Amy felt a small laugh slip through her lips. She quickly bit her lip to stop it, her dark eyes still looking up at him. "You're all I ever wanted since day one, it's the reason I begged you to run away with me, the reason... for this." And then he closed the space between them a kissed her, and in the split second their lips met Amy knew it was what she had been waiting for. She was finally able to move and that was when she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself closer to him as her lips moved with his. Amy thought it might be the most amazing kiss that she had ever had. She couldn’t help but think that had it happened sooner than this than they might have reached this point a lot earlier, but it had all seemed to play out in the end.
Amy finally pulled away from slowly, a smile playing on lips as she did so. “Okay, you have a deal,” she said softly, before she was pulling him back down to her, kissing him again, all her pent up feelings and emotions going into it with very little effort on her part. She had a feeling that she could stand there and kiss him all night, though that might not be the best idea. She eventually pulled back, though she never stepped out of where his arms held her, enjoying how close she was able to be to him. “But no more fights with Kaler. Okay? What’s done is done, and neither of us can change that.” She couldn’t go back in time and change what had happened between her and Kaler, not that she would, but it was best to leave that unsaid given the situation. And Aiden couldn’t go back and night get in that fight. It was done and over with, and Amy just wanted to put it behind them and to forget about it. She smiled. “Come on, I’ll take you home.” She slowly pulled out of his embrace, withdrawing her car keys and walking to the driver’s side, unlocking the doors and opening her own. “And by home, I mean the B and B.” She offered him a mischievous grin before climbing into the car and starting it up. “Mom and dad closed the place for the night, and they’re most likely still at the wedding, so you actually get to enter through the front door for once,” she teased, the smile still on her lips. She pulled out of the parking lot and headed in the direction of her home, feeling a lot better than when she had been driving here not too long ago. Amazing how suddenly things had turned around.

Aiden and Amy had a lot in common, not only their stubbornness but their refusing to see what was right in front of them. He had no idea how Amy felt until right now, he tried to give off hints, but they never worked, usually ending in agruments of some kind. Those of which never really lasted long, they'd only last until he'd make some strange comment and he flirted with her again. There was obvious tension between them, Zoey had said it and pretty much everyone they encountered told them of this. Neither of them saw it though, and the sexual tension just kept raising, Aiden made sure of it too. Stripping in front of her, making sure that she watched, yeah that was his little ploy, but she seemed to have the same idea. This always made him glare, but he never made a move on her, they barely even hugged so why would he make a move at that point. He slept over her house a few times a week, same bed and everything, never a move and never a word. They talked about everything but something like that, and fights was something that were mainly common. Maybe a relationship would clear up all those petty fights, it seemed like they couldn't ever stay made at each other, so maybe it would all turn out for the better. There was always a reason he picked her to run to though, and now he was obvious of that reason. It was because he loved her, because he loved her and knew she'd accept him with open arms.
For a while it scared him, climbing up that tree and begging for entrance into her bedroom, and he was always scared of catching her with someone else. He'd never actually tell her about those times, when he climbed the tree to see some other male in her room. He knew her brothers, so he knew it wasn't one of them, and a pained expression always appeared on his face. Aiden wasn't really well liked by the Trent family, actually now he was probably hated by them because of this whole wedding fiasco. Well, it was too late to fix what he did, and he'd make sure to go to Randi soon enough and apologize to her, even if circumstances were rather awkward between them. He was sorry, though he didn't take back beating the manwhore's face in. He just did something that no one else really had the balls to do, and one would about Amy had set him off. The words that he said to her, they were all true, she was really the only girl for him and he was making that obvious now. She was the only one he really wanted to be with, Amy had given him so much, and now it was his turn to return it. "I'll make a better deal with you even. I found a small apartment, and if you want at any time, move in, you're welcome to, you can always visit and sleep over too." He smiled, knowing that would convince her in knowing that he was here to stay. He'd been looking for an apartment weeks before the wedding, wanting to surprise Amy with telling her about her, but seems that it led to something like this and he was unable to tell her due to the busy schedule she had been having. He figured now was the right time, and his offer was always going to stand.
It was nice to hear that she was finally committing to the deal, that Aiden had finally gotten something right in his life and that happened to be the best thing that happened to him. He went to say something but was caught in a kiss before he could get it out, grinning softly and allowing himself to melt into the kiss. It was nice to be able to do this, nice to finally know what it felt like to be this close to Amy Orsino. He had slept in the same bed as her, but never touched her, kept his hands away and made sure that he was on the other side of the bed. If figured it he even laid one finger on her, he wouldn't be able to help himself and pounce her right there. He kept his arms possessively around her waist, listening to the other part of the deal that she had to offer him. "Alright, but I'm not apologizing to him." He agreed with her, pouting when she pulled out from his embrace. His eyes went wide when she said she was going to bring him home, hoping that she didn't mean to the home he detested so much. No way could he go back there looking like this, he even refused to allow the police to call his parents, saying he was an orphan. It had worked, and they hadn't even questioned it at all, since public fighting wasn't really a huge crime. He knew he owed Amy now, probably some cash and being her personal slave for a few days. Once he heard her next words, he darted for the car, jumping into the passenger's seat and grinning widely. "Use the front door? You have no idea how punny that was." He leaned over the center consul, placing a kiss near her ear and working his way to her neck. Yes, he did know she was driving, but he decided that he wanted to tease her a bit. "I do owe you one, for rescuing me, and accepting me even with my busted lip and my not so hot exterior right now." He whispered, laying a few more kisses on her neck, grinning wickedly. He was horrible, though Aiden knew that she'd just shoo him if she didn't want it.

Amy had lost a lot in her young life, but at the same time she had gained so much. Losing her family when she was eight years old had been so very trying for her. She could still remember, and all she could ever wonder was why she of all people had been spared. Losing them gave her this constant fear of losing people. She was often terrified that the same thing was going to happen again, and that she would lose everyone once again. She wasn’t very fond of fire, either, for obvious reasons, and it was the one thing that she didn’t get involved in. She wouldn’t even light candles in her room, terrified of what might happen if one fell over or got out of control. Though that instance was so much different than this, the fear was always the same. Her fear here wasn’t of Aiden dying in a house fire, but that he would just get up and leave and she didn’t think she could handle that. She could practically feel the empty feeling that would be left inside her just at the thought of him leaving for good, and it was not a feeling she particularly enjoyed. She wanted him close, always with her, even if he was angry as hell at her. That was better than any alternative. And she knew that when she said the words, when she told him that she loved him, she had never meant anything more completely. Amy was known for telling half-truths and not always being completely honest, but where this was concerned, she meant every word. Because this was Aiden, and she didn’t think it was possible that she could ever feel anything but that, and that she had felt it for a very long time, try as she might to deny it. No one ever said that loving Amy Orsino was something that was ever going to be easy, even her family had difficulties with it sometimes, and this was even harder for one like Aiden.
But now it was out and it was said and he had said that he wouldn’t ever leave her. She would hold him to that, too. "I'll make a better deal with you even. I found a small apartment, and if you want at any time, move in, you're welcome to, you can always visit and sleep over too." Amy couldn’t begin to explain how reassuring it was to hear that, and the grin stretched even further than before. Though moving in was definitely out of the question, she knew that she would probably be spending a lot of time with him there. It made everything seem so more solid. Like this relationship actually might stand a chance even though it seemed so completely fragile. But maybe that was just Amy’s way of thinking. They would just have to take it day by day and see where they ended up, though she desperately hoped that they didn’t crash and burn. She honestly didn’t think she could take it if they did. For now, though, she was going to look on this as positively as possible. So she drove in the direction of her home. There was no way that she was not going to keep him to herself for the rest of the night and Aiden didn’t seem to object to that in the slightest considering how fast he jumped into the car. She could only smile at that. "Use the front door? You have no idea how punny that was." She rolled her eyes, but immediately burst into giggles as he planted the kisses down her neck. "I do owe you one, for rescuing me, and accepting me even with my busted lip and my not so hot exterior right now." She grinned. “Yes you do, though you seem to have no problem using that busted lip of yours.” She looked at him pointedly, then pushed against him because he was a serious distraction at this point. “Now stop it before I pull over and make you walk!” And knowing Amy she would do just that. It wasn’t like they were all that far from her house to begin with, and so he would have no trouble walking the short distance if that was what was to happen. She wouldn’t feel the least bit guilty over that, either.
Soon she was pulling into her driveway and parking in her usual spot. The house was completely empty, too. Her parents were most likely still at the wedding, and they had closed for the occasion, so there were no guests for anyone to look after. Her brother’s wedding was a big deal, and practically the whole town was celebrating the occasion. Amy had to dig for her keys to unlock the door, which was odd since it was almost always open. She found them, though, and was able to get the thing over. “This is a rather monumental moment, isn’t it?” she said to Aiden. “Have you ever actually entered the house through the front door before?” She was teasing, of course. His main entrance into her house happened to be her bedroom window. It was somewhat funny, really. She grinned at him, taking his hand and pulling him into the house, shutting the door behind him and locking it once again. She held onto his hand, though, and laced her fingers through his. “Are you in need of any medical supplies and doctoring?” she asked right away, her dark eyes examining the injuries that she could see and wondering if there was any serious damage. The fight between him and Kaler had been pretty rough. “Because, as you know, I am quite an amazing nurse.” She grinned. He knew that much quite too well as this was not the first time he had been injured and came to her. However, the circumstances were much different now. She leaned forward and kissed him, then pulled back. “And we might want to do something about that lip of yours. It’s not very pleasant.”
