Hadley had hated the fact that her family had up and moved her to a small town. They thought that a drastic change was going to change her, but there was no way that the eighteen year old was going to change anything about herself. She had gotten away from doing what her parents had wanted, and she was always referred to as the bad twin. It made her giggle because it was the truth; there was no way that Hailey would ever be out doing what Hadley did. The eldest of the twins was a heavy drinker and dabbled around with some drugs, nothing serious, but it was the simple fact that she did whatever she wanted. She could care less what people thought about her, and she hardly looked like she was eighteen years old. She hated whenever her parents thought they could control her, it was the reason she had stolen away from the god damn piano in the first place. She had always been good at it, and even thought that she was going to make a career out of it eventually. The main reason that Hadley hated it the most was because her parents expected her to be perfect. She hated every moment that she spent in the spotlight, and that was something that had changed her to a point that her life had taken a total twist.
The brunette had lost bits and pieces of herself along the way. She was hardly the sweet, innocent girl that she had been whenever they initially lived in New York. She had Hailey and it was always about the two of them being the good girls who had never done any wrong. Hadley hated that it was always about them being twins and never about the individuality of it all. Not everything was supposed to be about them being the spitting image of each other. Hadley had her own personality, and it was never seen. She was the rebellious girl that could give a flying fuck less about what everyone else saw her as, which was how she had managed to sneak out of her parent’s new home. She had made Hailey promise to cover for her if her overbearing mother did decide to rear her ugly head. It was severely noticed that her mother had decided to get involved way to much in the girl’s life. They had even bought a piano in order to try and calm her down. She glared at the retarded thing as she walked out of the house with ease, as her parents had slept through it all like they always did.
Being new to the town did not make things easy on her, for the fact that she had no idea where anything was. She carried a fake id like it was her job making her look like she was twenty one. Though apparently after her transition from good girl to bad girl did not hurt. Hadley hardly looked like a girl that would be a high school senior, and a senior that was barely making the cut to graduate. She was extremely smart, but that was not the point. People in authority just got under her skin, and it was the opposite of what she wanted. A problem with her flawed plan was that she knew college was going to have to happen, so maybe this semester she would pull her grades up. She hated the idea with a passion, but it was not such a bad idea. Eventually she was going to have to grow up, but tonight was not the night. Hadley walked around the town trying to acquaint herself with where everything was. She shoved her hands in the pockets of her coat hard enough to distract her from her lack of knowledge. It was not like New York where she knew where everything was and were to get the alcohol she wanted without worrying about someone thinking it was a fake. That was when she just stared at her feet and walked around. She grabbed the pack of cigarettes that were burning a whole in her back pocket and slid one to her lips. She lit it with ease and was thankful to have gloves that her fingertips stuck out of. That was when she started to notice where she was a little bit. She just continued to wander around, looking for something to do.
It was in that moment that the man caught her eye. She had been passing a bar and never even noticed it, but he was there just sitting by himself. He seemed like her, wanting to be away from everyone and the traditional crap that went around a small town. She had decided to let her curiousity get the best of her, and she decided to go try her luck with the small town bartender. Hadley never let her eyes totally get away from the man that had caught her eye, but she sat there and did some shots of whiskey. Never doubt that the girl can drink, because she can shoot a shot like the boys and drink most of them under the table. She pulled a cigarette out of her pack and decided to test the waters with the man sitting alone at the bar. She walked over and let a smirk play across her lips as she held the cigarette in her fingers. “You don’t happen to have a lighter do you?”
She knew he did, and she knew exactly where her lighter was located but was going to ask him. Whenever he pulled his lighter out and lit her cigarette she puffed lightly and smiled at him. “Thanks, I’m Hadley. And who do I have the pleasure of thanking this evening?” she was hoping to have a name and hoping to have someone to have her way with that evening. She was not the good girl that everyone thought she was, but she was the kind of girl that broke traditions. That was simply who Hadley was. Kaler was about to strangle Jared, no lie. The two of them had always gotten along well, well enough that Jared seemed like Kaler’s brother, but right now Jared was this close to getting his head taken off and the guy was completely oblivious to it. Kaler shouldn’t have surprised; Jared was oblivious to most everything. “You’d really rather go out and drink than stay here and help me plan my wedding?” Kaler rolled his eyes. “Yes.” Jared frowned, throwing down some kind of pamphlet he had that had one thing or another to do with wedding planning. Jared and Randi had just gotten engaged on New Year’s, yet they were already working so hard on planning this event and pushing to have a winter wedding. The engagement hadn’t come soon enough in Kaler’s opinion, but this wedding was coming together awfully fast. “What kind of groomsman are you?” Oh dear god… “The kind that was told he was in the wedding party rather than asked to be in it. I’m going out. You and Randi have fun.” Of course, Kaler didn’t really care that he was a part of this. He was actually kind of touched that Jared had included him, though he would never say as much. But really, Kaler wasn’t into this and he didn’t think that it was place to be helping him pick out catering or cake or whatever the hell else he and Randi were going to be embarking on this evening. He had swung by Kade and Jared’s just on the off chance that one of them would be interested in going out and having a few drinks, but Kade was not home and Jared was obviously getting in over his head with all this wedding stuff. “Drinking alone implies alcoholism!” “It’s an occupational hazard.” Kaler smirked and said his goodbyes and then left the house, getting into his car and thinking of a destination.
He worked as a bartender in this small town, and he really didn’t feel like going to the bar in which he worked. A change of scene would be nice, and in a town like this there really weren’t too many other options to choose from. It was small time, and Kaler decided that the best and easiest bet was to just drive into town and go to the one on the main drag of things. Which, that was really kind of perfect because his girlfriend would not be there, and that wouldn’t force Kaler to put up this act that he had been for entirely too long now even if they had barely been together a month. Not having to face her right now was just a bonus, and Kaler arrived at the bar and parked his vehicle. It didn’t seem too crowded, but just crowded enough that he may be able to blend in with the crowd and fade into the background with ease. There were a couple of other locals that recognized him as he walked in, greeting him and saying that it was odd to see him down that way when he seemed to live up at the other bar. Yeah, well it felt kind of odd being there, too, but it was all a good deal to Kaler. He guided himself over to the bar and took a seat on one of the stools, ordering up a beer. His taste was telling him to go with a bourbon, but he had to be able to drive back to his house later that night and the goal for the evening wasn’t to get plastered, even though that sounded pretty good right now.
The bartender sat the drink down in front of Kaler, and took a good swallow of it before setting the bottle back down, absently swirling it around. A song was playing from the jukebox in the corner, and there were people shooting pool, others laughing and dancing, having a good time. Seemed like a god place where there were good times to be had if he were really looking for it, but Kaler was more than okay with staying out of the spotlight and just sitting there to drink his beer. He had been up to a little bit too much lately, the things just piling up on his plate and he just kept digging his hole deeper and deeper. It was amazing just how terrible of a person you could let yourself become, how easy it could feel to screw over someone that meant so much to you. And really, it had been too easy to do, and Kaler never even had to go out looking for these women to cheat on his girlfriend with. He was leaving a trail of self destruction behind him, but he figured that he had already started it. Might as well make this trip to hell worth it. He took another swig of his beer, having a craving for a cigarette but knowing he had left his pack out in the car. Why he had not thought to grab them he didn’t know, but he chose to sit there and just drink more of his beer rather than get up off of his ass and go back outside into the cold to get them.
He was already on his third beer in what seemed like no time at all. Kaler thought that maybe he had been right in saying that alcoholism was indeed and occupational hazard, but then again he knew all of the reasons that he was sitting here this evening guzzling down beer. “You don’t happen to have a lighter do you?” A voice pulled him out of those dismal thoughts, the question seeming to be aimed at him as Kaler snapped out of whatever kind of zoned out state he had been in and turned his attention to this young woman that had approached him. He saw the smirk on her lips, read her body language perfectly. Kaler offered her a kind of playful smile of his own as he moved to pull the lighter out of his pocket. Of course he would have the lighter, but forget the cigarettes out in the car. Kaler held the lighter out and lit it, allowing this girl to light her cigarette. He couldn’t help but to think that she barely looked old enough to smoke, let alone be in a bar. Then she was giving him her name, and asking for his in return. The intention here seemed clear to a guy like Kaler that had played this game many times before, and although he knew he was in enough trouble as it was, he simply could not help but to play along. He tilted his head to one side slightly, icy blue eyes one her young, pretty face. “Kaler. It’s nice to meet you, Hadley.” And by nice to meet you, he had totally meant nice to catch your name but it was totally better to check you out instead. He was only human, after all. “Do you mind if I bum a smoke, Hadley?” Now he was turning on the charm, letting that smile turn into the grin that he knew to be a favorite among the ladies. “I’ll be happy to buy you a drink in return.”

Hadley had been keeping her eye on the man for a little bit when she had devised her little plan. It was Hadley after all, and the whole reason she had bothered coming out that night was so she could make stupid decisions and drink herself stupid along the way. She was lucky to have Hailey for a sister considering her twin was probably back home talking to their mother about how she was at [insert name here]’s house. She loved her kid sister for that, but the truth of that matter was Hadley as older by minutes if that. But that did not stop the brunette from “ruining her life” and making a mockery of the Walker name. Hadley could give two shits about what her parents thought about her or even what kind of disgrace she was bringing upon the family. All she cared about was herself, getting her next drink, her next smoke, or her next fix. She truly was a rare form, and tonight she had managed to catch someone already. It normally took a good bit to find a man worthy of her time, but there he was sitting on a stool all by himself just staring off into the wild blue yonder. She watched as he knocked back a few, but soon it was that time that she was going to work her charm.
Hadley had her shots when she entered the bar, but she had since moved on to just drinking beer. It was much more cost effective, and she had little money to work with. Her parents were not itching to give the brunette any kind of money in fear of her life repeating from New York to Arietta. It was wonderful how innocent they thought Hailey, but her twin loved her dearly. It was a wonder that Hadley was able to take advantage of her like that though. She really did love Hales much more than she let on. Hadley knew that one day she would pay her back for all the wrong doings she had done over the past few years. Tonight was not that night in the least. No, tonight was going to be a night that Hadley was going to remember as she walked over to the man hoping to have a lighter on him to make this ridiculous idea work. But that was the problem with her; she often acted before she thought of anything. It is what had gotten her caught back in New York, but to be honest Hadley had not just been drinking. She probably should not have been mixing drugs and alcohol together that evening, but she had been. She just wanted to get away from the piano, expectations, and just everything. She wanted a life where she was Hadley and not referred to as the bad twin. But that was last year, this year her senior year she was going to make a reputation in this small town and they were going to have to deal with it.
When Hadley spoke, she noticed him snap out of his lala land and back into the world of the living, breathing population. She did have to say whenever he was actually paying attention his eyes had a certain look to them. They captivated her as she looked into those as he lit her cigarette. Hadley had a way of talking with her body, that just about any man could read it. She could care less if you had a girlfriend, a wife, a fiancee, or even the other girl who was hitting on you at the bar, but if she was sending out the “I want laid” vibe you were going to notice. She could feel his eyes all over her little body whenever he spoke. She knew that look, after all it was just something to start. She was totally content with not knowing his name and continuing to flirt with him. But Kaler, that was an interesting name. She really enjoyed it, almost as much as she loved her own. Thank God she had gotten the unique name, as she referred to it. She continued to smirk as she watched him. She knew that look all to well, of someone trying to guess how she was getting served at the bar and that she looked all too young. It was something that most people just gave up on, but she wasn’t sure if he was most people. He did not seem like most people, but she reached into her coat pocket, that she had finally taken off and set on the back of the chair, and grabbed her pack of cigarettes offering them over to Kaler. “Yeah, you can buy me another beer, and we can call it even. But if you are gonna keep bumming off me, it will cost ya.”
She spoke to him playfully. God she was really good at this when she wanted to be. It really shocked her, but then she noticed that smile of his turn from smile to grin. It was damn sexy, and almost too hard to resist. She flicked her cigarette in the ashtray, and then took another swig of her beer. She was trying to figure out how to play this one, because she knew that they both were after one thing at this point. She just was not sure how it was going to play out. She smirked as she finally decided to try and find out a little about him. Some small chit chat, because she really knew nothing about this godforsaken piece of dirt. Arietta was small, but it was dull. Besides people it had basically nothing to occupy her, she spoke loud enough for Kaler to hear, but still wore her seductive body language as she leaned closer to Kaler on the bar. The seat next to him was now occupied by her and Hadley had no intention of giving it up. “You live here long, because I have no idea where the hell anything is. I just moved here from New York.” She figured the best way to draw attention from her looks was to talk, but that is when she crossed her legs as she faced Kaler and let her foot gently graze his leg. With it crossed so she could touch his leg, she let her foot gently move up and down his leg hoping to get the point across. She wanted him, and if there was one thing Hadley was good at it was getting what she wanted. [/blockquote] ___________________________

See? He had no fucking idea how this always seemed to happen. Kaler had come to this bar with only one goal in mind, and that was to get away and drink a couple of beers without having to think of anyone or anything else. He had just wanted one simple night out, but that seemed to be too much for the young man to ask for these days. There was temptation around every corner, some young female with impure thoughts whirling around her mind and her intentions clear the moment she laid eyes on him. Whether it was an ex girlfriend luring him to her house, a good friend wishing to refresh his memory on all the good times they had had, a younger girl with a devious grin, or another girl that had bumped into him and insisted on getting into his car with him, things had always ended in the same way. Kaler slept with all of them, essentially cheating on his girlfriend without ever having to come up with the idea on his own. Kaler never went out with the intention of finding some girl to fuck the brains out of, but they always seemed to find him just the same. He didn't know if he had some kind of "fuck me, I'm a cheater" stamp on his forehead or what, but it seemed to be flashing like a neon light to all these women. Just like this girl that had approached him at the bar. Kaler had not seen her, but she had obviously had her eye on him, probably trying to figure out the best way to come up to him, just what she could say to get his attention, and how to keep his attention once she had it. That's how Kaler had always played it, at least. He would watch a girl, figure out her body language, read each little thing and figure out more about her from watching the little things than he probably would from actually having a conversation with her. Not that he thought that this girl put that much thought into it, but she was still there.
And he was very much egging it on. Kaler hadn't needed to ask her for a cigarette, even though he had in fact been craving on and wishing that he had remembered to grab his pack of them from the dashboard of his car. He could have turned his eyes away from her, feigning disinterest and let her down, deterred her and sent her on her way to her next conquest. Had he done any of that? Hell no. He had asked for a cig, let his eyes appraise her, and then had even offered to buy her a drink in return which was nothing but an all out invitation for her to stick around a little longer and to let him get a feel for her. Hadley took him up on that invitation, too, reaching into her coat pocket and retrieving her pack of cigarettes. She offered them to Kaler, and he reached out and took one of the cancer sticks between his his fingers as she spoke, also taking him up on the offer of buying her a beer. The way that she spoke suggested flirtation, and Kaler just eyed her as she took a seat on the barstool next to him. He placed the cig between his lips, once again bringing the lighter to life as he lit this one for himself and took a good drag off of it before exhaling the smoke. He had not come into that bar with just sex on his mind, but now that this girl seemed so damn interested, her sights set on him, how could it not be? Kaler had indeed reverted back to his player ways, only one want on his mind in that moment as she drank her beer, both of them smoking and flicking ashes from their cigarettes into the nearest ashtray.
Kaler's blue eyes remained on his newfound companion, watching as she leaned closer to him, obviously trying to keep that body of hers in seduction mode by positioning herself that way. There was still just that small inkling in the back of Kaler's mind that he should probably be a little more concerned about her age and just how wrong this little moment right here was to be having in such a public establishment, but he could work on learning that later. Now she was asking him a question, and sharing a small bit of information about herself as well. "New York, huh? That's a big change." Talk about culture shock; the poor girl was probably going fucking insane with boredom after having lived in a place like that and coming to, well, a place like this. Arietta was small and very personal. People knew each other by their first names and everyone knew everything about everyone else. It got annoying at times, but you could get used to it. His attention was momentarily drawn away from this small conversation that they were forming when Hadley changed her position, facing him and crossing her legs while allowing one of her feet to gently rub up and down his leg. As if the direction of this meeting hadn't already been clear, might as well give a little bit of a subtle hint as to what she wanted. A mischievous gleam sparked in his eyes, but Kaler was good at holding his ground, good at not letting a lot distract him and give him away. Yeah, that move right there was a total win with Kaler as he as a complete sucker for little touches, but she didn't need to know that. Hell, she didn't need to know shit about him, but he could exchange a few more words with her. "I've been here for a little over two years now. But I came here from New Haven, Connecticut. It wasn't such a dramatic change." He was answering the other part of her question, giving her a little background on him as well. New Haven wasn't a small city, but it was still smaller that New York by a long shot and it had still had the New England feel that Arietta also had.
"And I'm sure you'll figure it out. Arietta isn't that big of a town, and you seem to have found one of the bars just fine." He took another draw off of the cigarette that he held between his index and middle fingers of his left hand, flicking ashes into the ashtray afterward. Kaler smirked, leaning toward Hadley just slightly and bringing them that much closer. His blue eyes looked into her green ones. She held his gaze, implying that she had a great deal of confidence. And, if that didn't, then surely the way her food ran up and down his leg would. "You seem confident for a girl that I'm fairly certain isn't even old enough to be ordering drinks," he commented, smirk still present as he picked up his beer and took a swig, eyes still on Hadley. He knew that he had called her on that much, but he wouldn't comment on whether or not she was old enough to have these cigarettes. That one seemed a little more uncertain. "I just hope you know what you're doing." Because it would be a damn shame if she didn't, though Kaler could see that she would know a great deal. And hell, she was from New York, right? That was a fast paced town if there was one.

Hadley may or may not have paid as much attention to him as she should have, but she knew that she could have made a move on him and he was not going to turn her down. Something about the man sitting by himself had intrigued her enough to make her go over and ask for the light. She had been pushing her luck thinking he was a smoker, but when it worked out to her favor, well she was surprised. Something about him just screamed that she needed to go over and make a new friend. Something about him was just a little different, and she was actually content with that. She knew that she was going to have to do a damn good job of keeping his interest, because one he was much older than her and two he was going to begin questioning her age. Sure she was not supposed to be drinking, but when in the hell had that stopped her before. She had been drinking since she was sixteen. It was nothing out of the ordinary for the girl to be there but he seemed different. As soon as she started talking to him though, those blue eyes had been all over her body. She was never going to admit that it was something she liked, something that made her want to continue this little thing that they had going on.
The brunette was clearly enjoying the company that she was currently sitting next too. She was quite enjoying him, and that was how it was working. So the last thing Hadley liked to think about was consequences to her actions, so she literally began smoking as soon as she turned eighteen, she knew that these were cancer sticks. She knew that her life was going to be severely fucked with and all at the same time she could really give a flying fuck less. The last thing that was on her mind was what her smoking was going to do to her body in that moment. She enjoyed sitting there whether they were really talking or just sitting there smoking their cigarettes together, but Hadley knew that her evening had just gotten a hell of a lot more interesting. She knew how to push buttons, whether a man’s idea was sex or not Hadley knew how to get it right back to where she wanted it. So as she kept her eyes on Kaler, well she knew that she could get his mind on what she wanted. She had her sights set on him and she was not going to back down from this. That was not the kind of girl Hadley was , she hated to back down from anything.
Everything about this town pissed Hadley off, there was one night club and that was it; there was nothing for her to do but annoy Hailey whenever she had spare time. Hell she had resorted to sending her im’s whenever she was bored. That was why she had bothered to come out that evening in the first place, she was that bored out of her mind. She was not about to stay in for the upteenth day in a row to appease her parental units. It was their fucking fault she had been put on this god forsaken piece of dirt in Maine anyways. She was not a happy camper about that. “Yeah, New York. And I guess you could say that, but that is putting it lightly.”
She chuckled lightly, because the idea of everyone knowing her dirty laundry was not something that she was looking forward to. She was a big fish in a little pond, and that was not an idea that she liked. She hated feeling like she had no air to breathe, not personal space and just the idea of a small town pissed her off to no end. She was however thankful that she had run into someone that had an inkling of how she felt. Which is why she was gently rubbing her foot all up and down his leg hoping for him to get the hint. She really did not care for the whole small talk shit, but one cannot exactly go around propositioning people for sex. As much as she wanted, she went with not so subtle hints as he spoke about where he came from. “Isn’t that where some big ivy league school is? Isn’t that Yale or something? But I guess you are right that it wouldn’t be that huge of a change. Still something that I would rather not have done.” She was kind of glad he told her a little big about himself. She smirked at him, sure she had found a way to a bar. That was what it was about, and that was how she worked. “That’s what I am saying. Why would I want to figure this shit out? I would rather be in New York, but no. Apparently a small town is better suited for me, but that is not the truth. But whatever, I will deal. Just have to remember how I got here.” She laughed lightly at it again, because it was a possibility that she would not remember. But that was another story. She would make Hailey come on an exploring expedition with her at some point and find where everything is. She felt him lean in closer, just managing to make them closer than she had already done. But his eyes managed to captivate hers, adn she let her eyes lock with his as he spoke again. There was the question of the day, and he had worded it quite interestingly. “Well what is it to you if I am not old enough to order? Is that really gonna stop you? But thanks for the compliment.” She questioned him, because although she may not be old enough to order drinks she was most definitely legal for anything else the man had to offer her. She smirked wildly at him as he questioned whether or not she knew what she was doing. “Trust me, I know exactly what I am doing.” She knew exactly what she was doing, and with the space very limited between the two of them she let her lips catch his and made her point. She was ready to get the hell out of that bar rather than sit and toy around the idea of her age, besides she had a reputation to protect seeing as he called her out and questioned if she knew what she was doing. “Well, you convinced yet? What do you say we get out of here?” She winked playfully at him, but she knew that he was as ready as she was at this point. She just hoped he had a ride, because she was not about to walk...again. [/blockquote] ___________________________

He was fucked. There were no ifs, ands, or buts about it. No denying it, no way around it. It seemed that Kaler didn’t even need to be led into temptation anymore; he walked to it willingly. Hell, more like ran to it and didn’t even care what kind of wreckage and ruin he was leaving behind him. This was a self destructive tendency that he should have known to recognize, should have known that he needed to stop and fix before things got entirely out of hand. Kaler had done this before, had felt this kind of strong pull toward rock bottom and knew what he needed to do to correct it before he caused himself to lose everything, but for some reason he wasn’t finding the ability to do it. Maybe it had a lot to do with the fact that he didn’t feel much like he deserved good things, or like there was any real reason for him to want to turn his life around at this given point and time. Kaler knew that he was paving his way to hell with these actions, and that he deserved everything that he got for it, but that didn’t seem to slow him down either. He was taking reckless to a whole new level at a seemingly dangerous pace, but right now that was completely okay with him. Kaler knew that he had been cut from a certain kind of cloth in life; he was the bastard son of a heartless, drug addicted wench and a nameless man that had had a one night stand and probably never realized he had produced a son in the process. Although nurture had tried to cure him, bring him up better, nature was winning this one as he fell in with those other tendencies and ran himself into the ground even further.
But, in the back of his mind, he was already blaming this on Jared. Had Jared decided to come out with Kaler, this wouldn’t be happening. Jared would have been like a shield, and if nothing else a reminder for Kaler to be on his best behavior. Kaler and Jared were best friends, and Kaler knew that he could probably tell Jared all about his cheating and every horrible thing that he had done, and Jared would still accept him and love him like a brother regardless, but he very much doubted that Jared would let Kaler run off with a younger girl like this. And not for the fact that Kaler would once again be cheating, but because he would be the one getting ditched so that his best friend could go get laid. That was not cool, and would totally go against Jared’s bro code. However, there was also a voice that said that Kaler should not have had to bring along a babysitter to keep him on the straight and narrow. He should have been able to do that all on his own, should have been able to think of Izzy and the fact that she deserved so much better than this and should have flicked the switch in his head to turn this whole thing around before he went and made it worse. But of course, this was Kaler Scott, and he had a tendency to ruin perfectly good things with just one well laid touch of the hand. Tonight that touch was going to be laid on this young girl; it was amazing how such a fire of desire could build so quickly. Hardly any game had to be played, which said more about the two of them and how easy they were making it than it did anything else.
What they were talking about…was just small talk and completely irrelevant. It wasn’t like they needed to know anything about each other for this to happen. Kaler didn’t even get the names of some of the women that he had slept with in the past, and he was completely fine with that. In some cases it was truly the less he knew, the better it was. But with Hadley, he supposed that it wouldn’t hurt to exchange names and few casually spoken lines of conversation. She was obviously displeased with her move from New York City to Arietta, and in the way she spoke about it she showed her age quite a lot. Which, Kaler was still just guessing at her age, but he knew that she was no older than nineteen, if that. But, she was cultured enough to know that Yale was located in New Haven, and at this he had only been able to grin as he took another drag off of his cigarette before answering, “Yeah, something like that.” There was no need for her to know that she was talking to a Yale graduate. People tended to assume certain things about people that had attended ivy league schools, something that Kaler had learned early on. They looked at him differently, seemed to classify him differently than they would have previously, but he supposed that he didn’t blame them. There was a large class difference from the lowly bartender of the small coastal town that he portrayed and well to do, trust fund Yale alumni that he really was. No, that would be entirely too much for this girl, who really only cared about one thing, anyway. Kaler wouldn’t bore her with details.
Was her age going to stop him from doing this? No, no it wasn’t. The look that he shot her after that would tell Hadley as much. Kaler should have been a better man and turned her away, told her that she was too young for this and that she was only going down a dark, slippery slope that could potentially lead to a life she wouldn’t want, but he wasn’t a better man. He was still adding fuel to that fire, saying that he hoped that she knew what she was doing, and he hoped that she knew what she was getting herself into. That same, bright confidence that the girl possessed shined through once again as she told him that she did in fact know exactly what she was doing. And, as if to prove her point, she leaned in and let her lips capture his in a kiss. He should have pulled back, should have not let such a display happen in a public place where there were eyes on them, but he didn’t. Kaler let her kiss him, tasting the alcohol and smoke on her breath as he knew she would also taste on him. Was he convinced yet? Hell, he hadn’t even needed that much to know that this was happening. “Yeah, let’s go.” Kaler turned to snub out his cigarette which had been mostly gone, anyway, and then stood to reach for his wallet. He laid down the bills that were necessary to pay for his drinks and Hadley’s as well, winking at the young girl before they both were heading for the exit and back out into the cold night air. “You gotta ride?” Hadley informed him that she did not, and that was okay. Kaler instead led the way to his jet black camaro, unlocking the doors and they both climbed inside. His place was out of the question as he had a sister and a girlfriend to worry about walking in. Hadley’s was obviously not the right choice, so Kaler took off down the highway and headed for the beach, parking the camaro there on the sand of the deserted coast. Sex in his car wasn’t new, but sex in his car on the beach? That one was, and he looked over at Hadley with that familiar gleam in his eye. It was time to switch positions and get to this, and he had no doubt that she was about to make this very interesting.

There were words that could express how Hadley acted on a daily basis, and she had come to terms with it. She was not the sweet little thing that Hailey always had been, and that was not something that was going to change. The eldest of the twins had her own way about her, she was confident and just someone trying to be noticed for who she was. So maybe she was a bit promiscuous and did what she wanted. She could care less what other people where thinking about her. Hadley had become that way whenever she was pressured to dedicate her life to the music she had no passion in. She loved playing the piano up until her parents made her play it. When it was just her sitting down to write, that was one thing. Hadley was a songwriter. She had never had a problem with the piano until her parents started pushing her. In fact, Hadley adored it. If it was something that she could do on her own with no pressure then she would always be happy, but no. Her parents always had to take things to a whole new level of stupidity. So when Juilliard became an option or an ivy-league school, well she shut down and shut everyone else out. The only person that managed to stay in her life was Hailey, and that was because she was her twin.
Hadley knew she was traveling down a very dark and slippery slope with her lifestyle, but she really didn’t care. She had been smoking since she was sixteen, and she sure as hell had spent that much time in the bar. Hailey was an amazing sister always covering for her sister’s antics. It annoyed her parent’s to no end, but that is what made Hadley love her little sis even more. She always had the rebellious twin’s back, and as she sat next to Kaler, well she knew that Hailey was not going to want to hear about the latest man that she had conquered. The small talk was just totally irrelevant. She knew that this night was going in one direction, a direction that she was very interested in. She had wanted to end up with someone that night when she started hunting for a bar. Hadley had also wanted to get drunk, but that was not about to happen. She knew that she could always come back if she wanted to, but Kaler just seemed like a much better option. She let herself rant about being in Arietta, and knew that it was probably not the best way to go if she wanted to keep the air about her of her age a mystery. Hadley knew that Kaler was not dumb, so he had to assume that she was not of legal age. It was not something to miss, but no one questioned her. It was nice; it also reminded her of New York.
The brunette knew all about Yale, but she looked at Kaler kind of confused. She was not really certain why he would have wanted to go to Yale. He was smart, she could tell that just from their little bit of small talk, but who was she to judge. He could have just gone for a few semesters and dropped out, or he could have graduated. It really did not matter to her, as long as he was going to give her exactly what she wanted that night. She kept her green eyes on his, and it was almost like neither of them really wanted to take their eyes off of the other. She took a nice long drag on her cigarette, while he answered her. She giggled a little, because she really could care less about Yale. It was a good school, but nothing that she wanted to go to. Hadley could see herself eventually going to some kind of music school, maybe even deciding to go to Juilliard at the end of the year. She never filled out the applications or anything like that, but they had always been interested in the composer. She would much rather play her own music than what the classics had to offer. They were wonderful pieces, but nothing that showed desire, want, and lust. All emotions that were burning in the petite girl’s body. She was getting to the point where this small talk was just getting in the way.
After letting her lips capture his in a playful, taunting way, she had made the option to get out of there. She knew what she was doing, and she had to prove that now. It was funny to think about, but she was good at this. She was not one of those girls losing their virginity because they wanted to be rebellious. That had long since been gone, and she was one of those girls that just enjoyed sex. She watched as Kaler paid for not only his drinks, but hers as well. He was nice, but then they were on their feet. Hadley pulling her coat up over her arms, not exactly looking forward to the cold that was awaiting her as she walked out of the bar behind Kaler. He asked if she had a ride, and she just laughed. “Nah, I had to walk to get here.”
She was pulling her gloves on, not sure where they were going to go, and then the blinking of a car unlocking struck her. Kaler had led her to a jet black camaro, a car that she had always wanted. “Nice ride...” she smirked before climbing into the passenger seat. Soon enough they were speeding down the road, and headed towards the beach. Hadley had never had sex on the beach, in a car a few times, but the combination of car and beach was even more new to her. The car was parked on the sand, and sure enough when her green eyes met Kaler’s there was that gleam. She knew what was about to happen, and she wanted it as much as he did. It was about damn time to get this started, and soon there was switching of positions trying to find what would work, but Hadley being on the short side meant Kaler slipping in the passenger seat and her being the dominant little thing she was. She knew that she would surprise him, and as her clothes hit all over the car, she could say that she was very pleased in her choice of men that evening. Kaler had been everything that she had expected and then some, but that was what had her hunting for her cigarettes after the fact. She wore a wild smirk across her lips whenever her green eyes had met his blue ones. Finally finding the pack of cigarettes that had been hiding in the backseat, how they got there she had no idea, she cracked the window and lit up. Inhaling slowly she always enjoyed the cigarette after sex. “well, did I know what I was doing?” She knew damn well that Kaler had not expected what he got from the tiny brunette, but he did get what he asked for. Someone who knew exactly what they were doing. [/blockquote] ___________________________

Sports cars such as the Camaro were really nice vehicles. They were helpless in bad weather, requiring a knowledgeable hand to drive them in it if they were to be moved at all when it hit. They raised your auto insurance, and were quite costly to purchase to begin with, and if you had a major wreck in one the odds were not going to be in your favor. But, if you could overlook all of those faults, they were good cars, and if a car could be sexy, these kinds definitely were. Kaler loved the allure of a Camaro, though, and how badass the new front ends and grills made them look. He had a big Ford F-150 at his home in Texas that he most commonly used to hall horse trailers on the rare occasions that he actually went home, but he had always owned a smaller, more fuel efficient vehicle when he was on the East coast. Plus, a car like this was flashy but not overly so, and it was always a hit with the ladies. Hadley had seemed impressed with it, and Kaler knew that they were both about to utilize the vehicle for something that it wasn’t really designed for. The Camaro was hot, and sexy, but it was not designed spaciously enough for those kinds of encounters. The back seat was small and not ideal, and it wasn’t like the driver’s seat was ever right for having sex in because the steering wheel was in the way.
Kaler and Hadley had to switch positions, Kaler finding himself sitting in the passenger seat and leaning it back, letting Hadley be on top. This wasn’t always Kaler’s favorite position, but Hadley had such confidence that it was really something of a turn on to see her taking charge. She had a lot of spunk, and they both had a lot of need. Every kiss and touch was fueled by hunger and lust, and the clothes came off and were tossed in every direction inside of that car. Hadley had come to play, and she played hard. Most younger girls wouldn’t have had that kind of ability, wouldn’t have known to give their hips that sexy little twist or all the tricks she had known to drive him wild, but she had. Kaler had no doubt that it had had to do with what he had said back in the bar, hoping that she knew what she was going. She was proving herself to him, and she had known exactly what she was doing from the start. It was an extremely pleasurable experience, one that left Kaler lying back on the seat and Hadley lying against him, still straddling his lap. She moved then, stretching out over him as she hunted the back seat for her pack of cigarettes. The younger girl smoked more often than he did, but he just smirked back at her as she sat up and smoked her cigarette after having located them. “Well, did I know what I was doing?” That infamous grin of his came to his lips. “You were a’ight,” he said, clearly teasing before reaching up and taking her cigarette, taking a long draw off of it before handing it back to her. “So what are we doing here, Hadley? You wanna go again or am I taking you home?” And like a bullet, they were gone again. It would be awhile before they would rearrange themselves, doing their best to redress in the small space before he had to drop her off at her house. What had he been thinking, sleeping with a girl that still had a curfew and lived with her parents? Exactly, he hadn’t been thinking at all, but it had certainly been worth it.
